We all slag off Klopp and rightly so, but they know how to "Do Business" they identify what / who they need, they don't let too many rumours get ahead of any deals and they sign the player/s.

FFS If a bunch of thieves and robbers can do it properly why can't we? :banghead:

You say fair play to the klopp and victims for that, but our cone boy has identified the striker he wants and is going to screw the club up royally if the board back him by signing jesus - this is one time wherev every Gooner should be praising our board's hesitancy in the transfer market cos jesus is NOT what we need, and somebody needs to ensure that deal does not happen

We need two strikers, not just one! Even if we sign Jesus or Scamacca or whoever, we only have The Feather and Balogun in reserve (and that's if Eddie signs his new contract, which I assume he is hesitating because he wants guarantees of game time).

Maybe we don't need Jesus but we sure need a fucking miracle!!

We are being backed into a corner again. Nketiah won’t sign until he knows who else we are signing. Whoever we want to sign can’t sign until we know whether Nketiah is staying. It’s an absolute shit show and is the same as when we extended Auba on silly money because we had nowhere else to go and when we extended Ozil because Sanchez had just walked out of the door. Shameful stuff year after year.

I agree 100% Augie ; But Wiggy &WiggyJnr are not hesitating because they think Arteta doesn't know what he is doing (Which he definitely does Not!) Or else they wouldn't have hired him as Coach/Manager: in fact the reason they Did take him on is because he Is a Novice and He will have to do what they say & Decide. (A Yes Man). Also a cheap alternative to whom we could have brought in.

Neither are they hesitating about stumping up the money for transfers because they might feel or think that Jesus isn't the kind of striker we need (which of course to anyone with an ounce of sense and football nous knows he is not).

They are deliberating and hesitating because it involves Spending Money, which as ruthless cunty businessmen who make their fortune/s from buying up businesses/franchises and financing them a little as possible so they survive and deliver financial rewards year in year out; financial rewards which they plough back into new enterprises etc. All the while not giving a flying fart about the Fans; to whom it is not a ''business" but a Life Long Love and Dedication.

We are fucked between rock and hard place: Wiggy and Carpet Head.

We have owners who are novices when it comes to British Football and a Novice as the manager of that club/team.

Until they have both been fucked off - It will continue like fucking Ground Hog season... ad finitum.

🚨Arsenal are convinced they can complete a deal for Tielemans fairly quickly after the international break ends. Leicester are hoping for a price in excess of €35m

He’d be useful as a back up as one of three strikers.

Official: Arsenal have completed the signing of 19-year-old Brazilian forward Marquinhos from São Paulo on a long-term contract, becoming the club’s first official signing of the 2022 summer transfer window.

Welcome to Arsenal, Marquinhos! #afc https://t.co/6pnerOftr0

Who the bloody hell does Nketiah think he is? Just because you grabbed a couple of goals at the end of the season doesn’t mean you’re now big enough to hold Arsenal FC to task. Sign the contract, be grateful and go back to being next to useless - as per.

In his defence, I would THINK that nketieh is waiting to see by the calibre of players we sign if he is going to be a squad player or important player - if we sign a couple of quality strikers I suspect he will refuse new contract, but if we only sign jesus from city he will probably think he is in a great situation here and will get loads of game time and he will sign new contract

If he is our main striker then we will totally struggle for goals. he is a squad / bit part player at best and if he thinks any different the is deluded.

We just shouldn't sign him up again. Lightweight, not good enough. End Of.

So far it pretty much reeks of "the usual" from us, while clubs around us are getting it done we're giving it the cards close to the chest approach which as we all know ends in dissapointment.

We pretty much needed a statement signing straight off the bat...something to say that last season was just ok and now its being built on.

But nothing.....Twas ever thus
