Re: PL Fixtures 2022/2023
nailed on loss to start the season
a chance for everyone else to laugh at us on a Friday night before the season properly gets going
NLD straight after an international break...can see that going well
the usual easy few games at end of the season as we try desperately to reach the Euro Conference league

I'm with you on that buddy - it is mid june and the season doesnt kick off for another 8 weeks by which times most teams will have different starting 11s than if the games were played today. I used to be into the pre season games to see the new signings and next batch of young players coming through, but right now I am meh about that too

Arsenal are 50/1 to win the PL along with Newcastle.
Spurs are 14/1 to win the PL ….

We should be about 5000/1 to be honestGunner Rob wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 10:05 amArsenal are 50/1 to win the PL along with Newcastle.

Happy with that fixture list.
I’d prefer a home game to start us off but much kinder opening 6 games or so this time around. Last season playing Chavs and City in the first 3 games was brutal

Re: PL Fixtures 2022/2023
Oh look there's the month that consigns us to 6th or 7th place. Happily enough we'll be able to concentrate solely on "achieving" those losses too, as we'll have been out of all the cups since January. Trust The Process.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 8:52 amWould have put money on Augie to be the 1st whinge ,but Gunner Rob beat him to it

We play Leeds (h) and Southampton (h) in April too. Might need those points to keep morale upmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 8:52 amWould have put money on Augie to be the 1st whinge ,but Gunner Rob beat him to it

Re: PL Fixtures 2022/2023
That was my thoughts re the opening fixtures too. Europa doesn’t start until September either
Re: PL Fixtures 2022/2023
I suspect many of those Saturday 3pm games will actually be Sunday 2pm with the Europa League.Potentially 14 games will get rearranged if Gunners make semis. Throw in TV rescheduling and only home Saturday 3pm games look like been Fulham, Brentford and Bournemouth.
Also a bit surprising they resume league cup on 21 December. Could be a lot sooner as I suspect England will be coming home in early November/late December
Be a nice mid-season break for a few Gunners like Tierney and Odegaard. Maybe the Swiss can go all the way and Xhakash!t can return late…
