I’ve just watched him on YouTube for 2 minutes so I feel like an expert, so I’d say he looks mobile, and should be comfortable cutting in from the left, right or playing centrally in an advanced role

I reckon Arteta is going for the Citeh style of having loads of creative midfielders who can play anywhere across the line (Foden, Grealish, Gundaun(Sp), de Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, etc) and is trying to recreate it with ESR, Saka, Odegaard, Vieira, etc. even Jesus plays wide sometimes at Citeh.

If Pepe leaves we absolutely need another wide right option + competition for Odegaard would be a good thing too. I’m ok with it (assuming he’s good obviously ).

Striker and central midfield are obviously the priority but there’s no rule saying you need to make signings in order of priority. Judge the window as a whole in August

Pepe is, at best, a back up to the back up - imo we should focus on improving the starting 11 as an absolute priority before padding the squad.
