I was actually out in London, treating the missus to a special anniversary lunch, which we obviously delayed for a couple of hours to take this in. The reality is that playing further forward he is less exposed to blunders and the bar is set very, very low for him. No outrageous howlers and he's credited with a blinder. Failing to clear that ball in the box yesterday and the resulting penalty was down to him, yet it is casually or perhaps conveniently ignored.The most charmed footballing life in history.

Some of the scenes my son has sent me on his phone of the crowd look amazing. What happened? when I last went to the bowl there was a poor atmosphere and there were no groups of younger men sitting together as was shown on Twitter. Did the club change its seating arrangements?
