Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Why do Liverpool fans boo the champions league music ?
They believe the Beatles wrote it and are being denied the royalties :rubchin:
Why don't they just have a candle lit vigil and kill some innocent Italian fans? That seems to sort everything else out for them. :censored:

That would involve stealing a shed load of candles; because obviously they don't pay for anything and then waiting for the next Italian side to visit so they could kill at least another 39 innocent Italian fans.

Looks like Potter is getting the Chavs playing again. Comfortably, putting the champions of Italy away in CL. Expect them to be start pushing us at the top soon. Shame we didn't play them a few weeks ago.

Probably because they believe that uefa have plotted against them in their defeats by Real Madrid in recent finals. Can't go round throwing 6 European Cups iat everyone in England's faces, then boo the competition that's given them the status as European giants. A bit ungrateful.

The BBC has allowed Kane to do story time on CBBC tonight. No child is going to sleep tonight after watching ten minutes of spittal spattering the camera lens. It is the story of the lonely empty trophy cabinet and the evil trolls who do not know how to fill it.

Yeah! The Milan players were throwing themselves down like they'd been shot... REALLY Bad. But Hey! I still wish they'd beaten the chavs.

Just heard Graeme Sounds on talkshite saying "Arsenal were always a class act as a club. They were a club to aspire too". He tells a story about the Arsenal coach bus compared to the one Liverpool had during his playing day.
I've always loved that about The Arsenal. We lost that identity along the way, sadly. Would love the club to bring that heritage back to the club. We always did things the right way. The players entrance should be modified to reflect the Marble Hall of Highbury. Not greated by a green dinosaur but a commissionaire. Regain our authority as more than a club.

Take it you meant Souness , Unusual for him to say something nice about us . Was he being paid or just suffering from being shell shocked after Sunday.
However I agree with your premise about regaining the respect others had for our club. I have travelled extensively throughout my life and the mention of the Arsenal has only been a problem in Liverpool , Manchester and places close to the M6. Everywhere else throughout Europe and the Americas it's the start of a bonding experience.
