As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
What's the verdict on this Mudryk fella? I genuinely have never seen him play (knowingly anyway) and know absolutely f+++ all about what type of player he is?
Presuming he does sign for some sort of fee that ends up around €100m (or could), he won't be coming to warm the bench, so who is going to be the player to give up their place?
He is lightening quick - good with both feet and from what I have seen could play either wing - would fill in for Martinelli or Saka with no drop in quality, which means we can rotate / rest as applicable.
Would love us to sign him but don’t want us to use the whole budget on him and not fill at least one other positional gap this window.
We need to press home our advantage of being top, being a draw for players, to get them signed now to increase our chances of pulling it off this season, with 1 eye on forthcoming seasons.
What's a tad worrying is that whilst all this Mudryk thing has been going on, there has been no real mention of us bringing in anyone else..
I too really hope we do sign him, but we are desperate for a Mid-fielder who can Attack and Defend... Tielemans looking good against the Newstoke tonight in both attack and defence.
Trouble is January is renowned for not being the time when significant signings happen

This Video also gives some good clips of Mudryk

Excl: Arsenal have submitted a new bid for Mykhaylo Mudryk in the last few hours. Parties are now getting closer, no breakthrough yet — talks ongoing with Shakhtar Donetsk. #AFC
Arsenal are still leading the race — no official bid from Chelsea, as things stand.
Arsenal’s latest offer of €70m (as reported by @FabrizioRomano) + add ons takes the overall package much closer to the €100m Shakhtar have held out for.
Deal structure will be key but it seems from Arsenal’s side they’re determined to get this over the line.
It's a massive price tag for him. I can't help wondering if Arsenal are seriously worried that Saka won't sign a new contract so want Mudryk as a direct replacement?
