Of course there's no guarantees with almost any player but from what I've seen of Trossard he looks like a decent player. Not every signing has to be world class. Romford was never world class but he was a massive player for us. Fingers crossed this guy turns out superb for us too. :barscarf:
Ahem! Brian Marwood type transfer...
That’s a good shout, not flashy but was instrumental in a title win

Has good skill but also not gready, aware of teamates in better postings at times.

Can say I’ve ever took much notice of him before will he be our best ever Belgium player ? Can only think of Thomas Vamaelen

Personally not excited about signing Trossard at all.

But what he offers is experience in the PL and he will allow us to rest Saka and Martinelli, for the FA cup tie(s) and even the EL, if we are going for the title later in the season.

A solid reliable winger IMO, nowhere near elite. Maybe what we need in the second half of the season, we shall see.

The board know if they piss around with Declan Rice in the summer like we did with Mudryk, the same will happen again. I would like to think Rice having seen our setup and no doubt chatted with Saka at length about life at Arsenal, on England duty, can see we are building something at our club,

Trossard is decent, but woud have prefered Mc Alister from Bighton

The manager seemed to get Trossard out quickly, could be an issue :rubchin:

I agree about McAllister however I'd hate to think how much his value would be now if Mudryk was supposedly 90M

Anyone know who the Moroccan CDM plays for? He had an excellent world cup and might be relatively cheap :rubchin:

🚨 The Winter transfer market is not over yet for Arsenal, with the focus now being on midfield and right back after Leandro Trossard. Reports, @FabrizioRomano.

I'm glad to be wrong about us getting this deal over the line. The funny thing is that as much as I would love to have signed Mudryk, we don't know how long it could take him to settle into the league where as Trossard is PL proven. If we get one or two more signings in and get Jesus back fit, we have a decent squad for the run in.

Arsenal are closing in on deal to sign Polish centre back Jakub Kiwior from Spezia, here we go soon! Fee in excess of €20m, medical tests could take place this week 🚨⚪️🔴🇵🇱 #AFC

Deal very advanced, as per @wlodar85 — all parties hope to get it sealed soon.

🚨 Arsenal have taken advantage of Real Madrid’s uncertainty & have practically closed a deal for Real Valladolid right-back Ivan Fresneda. Mikel Arteta personally convinced the player to join & he will fly to London in the coming days. [@eldesmarque] #afc

🚨 Leandro Trossard SIGNED his Arsenal contract before midday today. There has been no confirmation over his registration ahead of the match against Manchester United on Sunday, but it is sounding hopeful. [@SamiMokbel81_DM] #afc
