Do we have a buyback clause on Guendouzi?

Getting desperate. No news from me. Assume the trolley is being readied by Edu.

I’d rather Patino returned

Good positioning and quick to nip in and win the ball - then just give it to Odegaard or whoever

Patino as a DM?

Might as well play Vieira there ( Fabio).

Arsenal set to make third formal bid for Moises Caicedo. Expected to be club record £75million fee.

Brighton’s public stance of “not for sale” is not the same stance they are taking in private conversations and #AFC somewhat encouraged by talks. Still a lot of work to do. #BHAFC

Wish we'd had a sell-back clause on Pepe. :D

This is a mess. What's the point in thinking about going back in with 5 Mill incremental bids that we know will be rejected?

Why waste time. We have a figure we can go to or we don't. Go big or go to alternatives...(stop saying pivot folks it's wanky!!)

We are desperately in need of partey cover. Some of us have been saying it since last season. The clubs failure to address this undermines a lot of the fantastic work and progress as this is the main thing that will cause us to come unstuck.

If we miss out on the title cos of partey injury/conviction then the club ought to be ashamed and it will be incredibly frustrating. Yes we have made brilliant progress and are way ahead of where we thought we would be. But we are also in a unique situation as regards the title is concerned one we may not be in again for a while. The stars have aligned to an extent but we don't seem to be doing everything we can to best equip us to win.

If caicedo is a no starter move away. There must be plenty of dms across Europe who won't cost 70m who can do a far better supporting job and fit in generally than Sambi or elneny (even if fit)

Iys incredibly frustrating as we are again lea ing ourselves short from a position of strength and its not exactly a surprise we needed cover so why leave it so late.

^^^

This. I honestly don't know enough about this bloke to say what he's worth, but if the club want him, then stop haggling and pay the fee. If we are prepared to pay 80 million, then don't fuck about offering 70 or 75 with bloody "add-ons", pay 80 and get the job done. If we're not prepared to pay 80, then we should have already walked away and bought someone else. As Mantis says, 70 million would buy some very good centre mids from around Europe, namely Amrabat at Fiorentina for one.

We could probably have got Onana for half what we're offering for Caicedo and I think it would have been a good move. As others have said, if we end up with no one, then be it on our own heads.

Fcuk me Caicedo has only played 26 league games for Brighton ??? Bought for £4.5m and TWENTY SIX GAMES later is valued at over £80m - how the fcuk does that work ??? I know that I said it already, but go for Camavinga and if Madrid wont let him go either on loan or permanent deal, then go for Tielemens instead, cos the money being talked about for Caicedo seems mad

I don’t know what’s more mental, a guy that was pretty much a complete unknown 6 months ago being the subject of a £70m bid or the club he’s contracted with turning it down.

The sample size we’re looking at with him is extremely small, you just got to hope we’ve done our homework here.

FWIW even though I’m normally the agent of doom around here I’m actually convinced this transfer will go through tomorrow, I’d be amazed if it doesn’t.

Roddaz Knows.

🚨 Arsenal among clubs exploring possibility of signing Jorginho from Chelsea. Italy midfielder’s contract up in summer + #CFC open to exit (may depend on Enzo Fernandez). 31yo one of options #AFC have expressed interest for. W/ @gunnerblog @TheAthleticFC

Apparently Kante is being offered around as he’s out of contract in the Summer. Seriously injury prone though.

Caicedo ain't happening. I hope we don't go for Tielemans, he's been very poor this season, just not good enough and not a DM anyway!
Jorginho is an interesting one, he's a DM, good experience. If we can get him cheap then I can't see the Chavs having a problem selling to us, they are looking at a run to 4th place, not the title. They must have a squad of over 30 players now so need to sell. I'd also be interested in Conor Gallagher to be honest, I think he's a good player.

Back to comedy Arsenal again in the transfer market. Not only do we want to take on Chelski discards we also want to help their FFP situation out.
