I don’t have an issue with Lineker criticising them but do you not think it’s a pretty outrageous claim?

So many of you are missing the point here. This is all about censorship and the Tory control of the national broadcaster. As some have mentioned, no problem with Andrew Neill, Alan Sugar, Jeremy Clarkson tweeting right-wing based messages in the past but as soon as any anti-Tory thoughts are posted, it’s full on George Orwell Big Brother censorship.
No punishment for Fiona Bruce excusing Stanley Johnson for battering his wife on Question Time, but her husband is a well known Tory donor, so nothing to see there. These are dangerous times right now and the signs are there of a slow growth of facsism. Division, diversion and control.
By suspending Lineker, they have totally shot themselves in the foot as all they’ve done is prove the point they are controlled by a Tory Chairman and Tory Director General. Be interesting to see how this plays out.
