Luton Town
I cant see a thread on this anywhere but dont you think -30 points is excessive? the club is having money troubles so to help them out they give them no chance of staying in the Football League!
I dont particularly like Luton Town due to there away fan ban in the late 80s but you have to feel for the fans!
once again the FA is a arse

i agree about chelsea smoothy and thats so wrong, and if the russian leaves then watch them fall but they can cover there bank debts ,, but my point was if your in debt and living beyond your means then you have only yourself to blame and i cant feel sorry for clubs who chase an unreal dream and then solve there problems by going into liquidation,, cant pay there creditors, and then start afresh with no punishment,TheOne2Smooth wrote:its a different board of Directors now though rebel, Its madness when Chelsea can spend over the top and are techniquely in debt and a small club like Luton get fucked like this! how are they supposed to get out of trouble going in the conference?
so fuck them

If Luton start on -30pts, then they're going to probably have to make around 70pts just to stay up!
I feel sorry for the Luton fans...not the club! The summer, and pre-season, is a time when, no matter how shit your team is, you can dream of glory...because you are level on points with everyone else, and theoretically, anything is possible. Well, not Luton. It must be heartbreaking for their fans... their club has been mismanaged, and it could happen to any club who are unfortunate enough to be in the hands of a bunch of bafoons
On a lighter note....if Arsenal had started last season on -30pts, we still would have finished above Sp*rs...and with 7pts spare

I have to say that I feel 30pts deduction was shocking harsh
I do agree to a point with rebel re the breaking of rules/living beyond your means thing but 30pts will all but put them out of business and for sure it wouldnt happen to a big club. I cant help feeling that there is a certain amount of payback over mike newells comments - despite what they say you cant help but feel that the footballing powers would rather brush any corruption under the carpet than be forced into dealing with it
Have to say the thing that really pisses me off about this saga is that luton are told that they cant appeal or they will be fucked out of the league
How in the name of jesus can that be fair ? Surely legally luton must have some grounds to overturn that ? (must get roly on the case
)
