We were playing Brilliant quick passing football, closing down Everything They Tried and then. step up Clive with a stupid pass too Partey who had 3 on him... he loses it and has to chase back

As for Holding he is Division One level At Best...

Partey has been like a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof...
Tierney has been awful
Holding worse
and Clive his usual Nightmare

I can't recall a half of football that has given me equal pleasure and pain than this one

From looking like it was going to be six or seven, to making Antonio and Bowen look like Henry and Bergkamp and shitting our pants at every set piece
This week and last the pressure off the title race has got to us. simple as that
In the strangest fashion though. Normally when the nerves kick in, we play within ourselves and can barely string 2 passes together (Newcastle away last season, Everton away this as examples.) Why we are getting nervous at 2-0 up and in total control is lost on me

How can a team look so in control and dominate to an absolute shit show in one half 2 weeks running?
Lack of leadership - it is still an issue at the club I think

A classic case of finding a game too easy and start pissing around and getting cocky. So unprofessional and they need to sort their mindset out.

Can’t believe this negativity.
Alright mate. Give it a rest ffs.
Let’s have this right. Someone (me) posting reality gets pelters on a daily basis. Then the entire forum cottons on and I can’t point out the double standards.
What you are doing is WUMing, trying to provoke other posters, and you know it.

We need two quick early goals second half and they will fold. We concede one and we will fold.

We have no leader in this team. I think that's what annoys the piss outa me when I hear Arteta talk about the "leadership group" and refer to fucking mongs like Lobotomy Clive as a leader.

Honestly we could lose the league here. If we do it's unforgiveable because make no mistakes this is a shit wet sham team.
Partey, Xhaka and Odegaard need to take control of possession and dominate the game. Your midfield trio will win or lose you games like this.

Sadly like last week at Anfield all 3 have been piss fucking poor and are getting dominated :banghead:

Christ turned on after 12 minutes and we were 2-0 up and absolutely cruising. We will hopefully win this one by, but let’s be honest it’ll be a miracle if we win the title as most of our wins come through victory after titanic battles with loads of fuckups overcome, while City bat aside the same sides with utter ease. Some big improvements this season, but on recent evidence probably not quite enough.

Exactly how I see it - less nerves and more a misplaced arrogance that kicks in when it's too easy. Honestly this should have been 0-4 at half time. We were carving out chance after chance, they couldn't get a kick and their fans were booing and getting the arsehole. Cue Partey and Gabriel's impression of the Chuckle Brothers

The only good thing is that the West Ham fans sound half asleep. I just hope one of our boys doesn't fully wake them up.

Trouble is Clummo we have 2 VERY Substandard Players in the team Holding & Clive who Truly are a Liability in every situation and then there's Tierney who not having played a full game since Wolfsburg is not up to his usual efficient standards.

Arteta needs to give them the bollocking of there lives, he needs to either shake Partey back to reality of hook him and play Jorginho OR sub clive for Jorginh or Trossard.

Yep, hated it when Henry and Pires did it, but at least they had won 🏆

Commentary we saying it was like a training game and that’s how it came across, they thought it was game over and dropped the effort.

Made it a lot harder for ourselves but confident we will put them away 2nd half with more intensity

Problem we have is Lobotomy Clive is completely incapable of doing that and Odegaard is a talented luxury player with no guts for the fight. Partey has it in his game but today looks off form and also can't do it alone. We need Lobotomy Clive out of the club and another player in there to help Partey dominate and then we can utilise Odegaard flair and vision.

If Holding gives his teammates the jitters, they have an odd way of showing it. He has arguably had more of the ball than any other Arsenal player. We keep turning in the midfield and feeding him!!
