Deep down we all knew this was the expected outcome. This club has an inherently weak and spineless mentality that permeates from top to bottom.

The ghost of Wenger remains.

Fucking do that cúnt Haarland in the knee now.
I thought we were winning this game?
Didn't say we'd win it without conceding...
So why would getting a man sent off help us win the game?
I'm just a vengeful bastard.

Stop with the negative crap - you are sounding petty
Whoaaaa. Hold your horses. I and a few others are the pessimistic killjoys. We are winning this game aren’t we. Because someone felt it in their waters. We need to ignore what we see game by game. Because sentiment wins us matches. :barscarf:
You really are behaving like an absolute prick....you are practically dripping with joy.
It’s the other way round fella. I consistently pick out the fact we have gone a few games ago. I take a load of shit for it and am told to believe. What are we seeing here now?
Yea, you are an absolute genius....nobody on here recognizes it. What a shame.

Love how the lines work when it pumps us up the fartbox  show the lines but not the player taking the freekick :rubchin: We've been utter shite though  utter utter shite :( I feared a savage and heavy beating beforehand and that's how it's turning out.

Thomas Partey will be 30 years old when next season starts. Granit Xhaka is 30 already

These two are our first choice midfielders and supposedly in their prime years. Senior pros there to assist the younger lads

Rob Holding is 27

Three senior pros - tell me how they are improving the side and showing any form of leadership?

The players are bottlers but it's the manager who has to take the blame. Going away to one of the best teams in Europe and rather than trying to stay compact and hit them on the break, we instead leave ourselves wide open, time and again. Can those who think Arteta is a genius, please give your head a wobble. He and his idol Arsene will at least have something in common, being ripped apart in a big away game.
Square pegs in round holes is the arteta way,we have a left back on the bench but continue to play a midfielder with no pace there, adding to that he goes missing from left back, and arteta allows it,Holding has been bullied tonight but he’s not the only one who’s hiding out there

The players have no showed yet again, not a single one comes out of that 45 with a shred of credibility.

Just like the latter end of last season they’ve completely collapsed once the pressure has been applied.
The problem is deep rooted at the heart of the club and has been there for 15 years or so now since Wenger let the second rebuild collapse. From that moment onwards we've let the big guns bully the fuck out of us

I remember the Calendar Year Champions of 2013 (one for the bingo card Retro...), playing like this, top of the league and went to Anfield and let Brenda's mickeys batter the fuck out of them 5-1 before the season collapsed.

2016, beat Leicester, become favourites and get done at home by Swansea and collapse

Back then I said we had no on field leaders. Wenger disagreed - captaincy is overplayed, rotational leadership etc. Sadly this Wenger disciple is heading the same way with his "leadership group"

Same characteristics as a latter day Wenger team. Long runs when you're swatting teams aside playing champagne football, but come the moments that matter and they collapse. I said after West Ham this team won't win again until we can't win the league, then they'll probably bitch slap the remaining teams

Rinse and repeat. Different manager, different players - nothing different in mentality for 15 years
Flat track bullies....as soon as there is pressure they collapse. Once the league is completely gone all the old swagger and verve will be back. We haven't even got a captain FFS. Haven't had a leader on the pitch for 15 years.

PGMOL preparing another apology for the second goal.
Why? He's clearly onside?? :?:
A couple of angles show he's off.

Peacock mentioned it too.

Yeah he looked it mate, but with the lines you can see he's on. Angles do distort things

I haven’t said we would win, far from it.
I expected a loss and have had a bet accordingly.

Didn’t stop me hoping though and I’m not going to come on here for the biggest league game in years laughing at all the people being positive.

I feel for Saka on his last legs, and I feel for Martinelli

Let's be clear- these two youngsters have worked wonders for 30 odd games this season

How about one or our "leadership group" give them a leg up when they most need it eh?

Clive, Partey, Holding - just all fuck off please. Not good enough and never going to be
