Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We’ve pissed this title away. Staggering how we have blown it.

Absolutely infuriates me that teams, low level teams, go to City and make them work. We go there and give up within the first 5 minutes and then just blithely dismiss the loss as, "well what did you expect, it's City" We expect you to at least try!! :banghead: :banghead:
100% bang on! Painfully frustrating.

Fine Margins indeed... If Saka's pen against the shammers goes in we are 5 points clear still ....

I've noticed that $hitty get away with countless little niggly fouls on the opposition - But anytime they get fouled the ref blows up straight away... It's as if they can do no wrong... OilyCUNTS :banghead: :box:

Took him off. Brought on Ings who did his best Odegaard impression by gifting them possession. Haaland scores..game over

In fairness to West Ham Reserves, they showed more spirit up there tonight than we have there in 8 years

Our best chance was to keep the pressure on them. This is a procession now. Criminal bottle job we performed during April.

Everton
Saints
West Ham

all to be relegated, wouldn't that be hilarious?

Yes, it's spiteful on my behalf but so what. I'm annoyed at us really.

Let's be absolutely clear. The draw at Anfield was a good point. Losing at City isn't a disgrace, albeit the method of our capitulation was. So one point from those two games wouldn't have been the end of the world.....IF we hadn't fucked it against Southampton and West Ham. Those two results were all about total lack of balls when the heat was on. We'd be 3 points clear still and it would have been a goal difference issue

The problem is that one led to the other. Liverpool lost us our buffer. Doubt set in. 2 nil up away at Wham. Great. One error and we shat the bed. Saka also lost concentration. Saints was shit the bed time. Then it was all over.
