LEGEND FINALE??
LEGEND FINALE??
Right you lot.
This is the first Monday for a long time that I feel good. I have this strange and serene feeling of great things are gonna happen this season coming.
How different from a few weeks ago. Everything about Arse was not good. La Boss was maybe going, TH was maybe going, mutiny in the ranks, Board was fucking everything up. No comment coming from any Arse source cept Gallas Gob. Everything in the shite newspapers was how we were going down the tubes!
Then TH goes, aah the papers cried! The Arse is in meltdown, all the false crap coming from TH's gob about his beloved DD and La Boss not staying (wonder now if that wasnt all Sour Grapes cos he wasnt the Big I Am that he thought he was) I have to admit I thought at the time that we were in a self destruct mode. But as the last couple of weeks have gone by and the tabloids shit have run out of crap to spil out that I have started to feel that this might be La Boss's Legend of all Legends.
Have we all noticed since TH's departure all the young guns have come out of their shells. Tommygun and Ces saying how they love the Arse and how they vowed they would all stick together and make this a great team. I dont know if this is true but I was reading how TH was always scolding the young ones and RVP was the only one who stood up to him. I think before the Spurs game was the last straw for La Boss and he knew that it was time for TH to go. So he dropped him and TH sulked off from the training ground.
Watched La Boss being interviewed at Barnet game. He's going nowhere. He's gonna die at Arsenal, I honestly believe that. Loved his witty comments about Reyes and himself. This man is ARSENAL for what it is today.
Now the players he has signed Ive noticed are all tough bastards. So there's gonna be no pushing off the ball of these young guns by the retards of the likes of Everton and et al. And they look like they can give a kick back when the opposition try to kick us off the park. Ces doesnt take any shit, nor does RVP (but he needs to control it in front of the ref). And now they havent got TH to worry about with the sulks and frowning at them, I can see them going for goal all over the place and the opposition wont know what to do and I think they wont be able to fill their penalty area with 10 men anymore. Dudu coming down the left, Theo coming down the right, Tommygun coming from anywhere, RVP storming from the front, sounds good eh!
I know this is all theory, and will have to see the practical side, but I think La Boss has quitely got together a new set of young guns that are gonna be ARSE through and through and maybe, just maybe we're gonna see the LEGEND FINALE OF LA BOSS before he moves upstairs.
Well whada you think? Answers on a postcard to TH, Barca, Spain
HEY CES, WHATS THE SPANISH FOR "WHO'S TH?"

Thanks Belfast Boy,
I honestly think we're gonna see great things from this young team. There's only the mad hun thats really left out of the old guard, and I see Freddy's staying cos he's Arse til death and he didnt want to go, and La Boss is happy for him to stay. He's still good for 45 minutes and can help the young ones and he's no pushover on the field. Hope to see the new goalkeeper at Emirates on the 29th to see how good he is. I hope to see all the new players on the 29th so hoping La Boss gives them all a run-out.

I don't remember Rosicky or Fabregas saying they love the Club. In fact, Tomas just said that he reckons we can do better next season, which you’d expect him to say, and Cesc’s agent said that, after speaking to Real Madrid, he decided not to go there for the second time (but might get “luckyâ€

hey every1 i'm a newbie,
was just reading what you wrote delgooner and i had to reply as i feel that there is defo something special happening at the grove. as a fan every year i have a feeling like this but this year its a bit different i think titi brought the tension with him to Spain and i hope it infests the squad over there. his disapproving glares at the young guns last season enraged me, dont get me wrong he is a legend but i think it was the right time for him to leave.
its time for the new generation

With all this said, I do admire your optimism, and I hope that you’re right, and I’m wrong. Still, I simply cannot share many Gooner’s enthusiasm over a player who I’ve never seen play (Eduardo) and a right-back (Sagna), when we’ve just lost one of our greatest ever players. If we sign a striker (I’ve convinced myself about Martins) and maybe a winger (I’ve heard a few rumblings about Wright-Phillips) then I’ll feel a lot more positive about things. But seeing as that may well not happen, I guess all we can do it wait and see, and then hope for the best.
P.S. isn’t it “Le Bossâ€

Del, I always say good things about the Arse! Anyway, I was merely offering you my two cents on all of this. I'm not a doom and gloommonger (nice) (in fact, I said in my previous post that it isn't all doom and gloom). I was just saying that I think I am a lot less easily convinced than most of the people on here. It doesn't mean that I want us to succeed any less (or more) than you guys. It isn’t a competition. I'd love to see Eduardo turn out to be the fucking business, and Hleb bang in 20 goals (no, seriously), but until I see something concrete to go on, I'm not going to get carried away. Call it not setting myself up for a fall.
So yeah, that's my opinion. Voicing it doesn't make me a Spud, than you very much! After all, it is a “forumâ€

TS, apologies for the spuds reference but you did sound a bit like Mart Jol.
I did say in my piece that it was Theory at the moment and I am hoping that it will become Practical. It sound like you are still in deep mourning for TH, but you've got to give young blood a new lease of life, and perhaps the passing of TH might (I say might) be a good thing, we will have to wait and see. As for your bit about Martins and SWP, I just dont think they are Arse material (thats my opinion) Martins not reliable and something missing in the brain department. SWP never did anything for me, nothing special at City, could have signed for the Arse but "LA" Boss didnt want to pay double of what he thought he was worth. So he went to Chel$hite where he's just a part-time filler for anybody that gets injured and he seems content just to sit on the bench and take the dosh! If he seriously wanted full-time football he would have fucked off this summer and said bollocks to the dosh. He would be no good coming to Emirates as he could never be like his old man in a million years. Wrighty was a special one-off and SWP knows it.
P.S. Now TS these are just my opinions ok and Im not nitpicking on you about what you think of Martins and SWP

Please meeeeestor Tony. Don't be so hard on yourself!!tonysaunders wrote:Augie - bloody hell, someone sticking up for me! You want to be careful; you'll get crucified for doing that around here!

Just because some might say you sold out to the corporate Gooner when you became a moderator... Some might say that, I wouldn't!

Welcome IW8! It's not usually all arguments on here but we do like to hear differing opinions (contrary to what augie would tell you
