I know there are quite a few peeps on here who don't rate Declan Rice, but have to say he was pretty fuckin' amazing throughout the game tonight....and if with better players than he currently plays with, ie: Arsenal he would be even better.

I think he would be really good for us.

Personally I don't rate him much beyond PL average to goodish. But there is - as OneBard says - the possibility he steps up a level playing with a few of our more top level players. But there is also the possibility he won't.

The decider for me is, with the inflated English player premium, it would cost us £100million plus £200k per week to find out.

If it punts that arsepiece Xhaka out the door it's money well spent

One thing Rice is, is a leader. Been captain of that lot from an early age and he certainly steps up when it matters - today was a good example

Pay 54m for Zubimendi or 100m for Rice? It's a no brainer, Rice every time, we should break the bank for him. He takes us to another level.
