Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Game over........COME ON MADRID!!

I hope they get blown out of the CL again....it's the one they really want....and even with all their cash, they keep blowing it.

City are clinical, composed, effiecient, and brimming with top class players. Every fan wants their team to have those qualities, and you can applaud individual bits of skill and brilliance like that goal. But it’s a fucking dull recipe to watch over 90 minutes against vastly inferior opposition, let alone multiple seasons.

We’ve won the “I feel it in my waters Title” :barscarf:

The real title we blew weeks ago. :banghead:

11 league wins in a row now, swatting everyone aside. Won 5 out of the last 6 titles, only missing out during the freak covid season with no fans and Liverpool getting 99 points.

It’s all so fucking stale, built on corruption and cheating. Unlimited funds for a team with fuck all of a fan base and a ground they can’t sell out.

Hollow.

Wenger was going to be invited to the Emirates for the Wolves game if our title chase was still alive. At least we've been spared that.....imagine if we won it with him there, he would intimate that he laid the basis for it.

After all he did buy Xhaka.....

Starting to become boring already. Always hoped we would never get to the stage like it is in Germany where Bayern win it every season but hard to see the cycle being broken. One day Newcastle will get the manager they need to spend their unlimited wealth wisely, but until then....just a boring procession to title after title

You know what pisses me off the most is that nobody, not the commentators, not the pundits, nor the studio guests ever mention the unlimited, unregulated and unchecked amount of money City throw at this.

People just behave like this is a club with a long illustrious history, great stadium and terrific fans who have a fantastic youth academy, who build title winning teams from the ground up, have world class players they have raised since kids and have a silverware haul going back 100 years. It's all so false and cowardly.

I despise these bastards  We've only ourselves to blame though cos we've handed it to them  Cheats do prosper it would seem but if we had kept the napper at Anfield and the games after it would be ours to lose still.

Fuck off Everton

OK first goal was genius but since then they've been a joke. Taking DCL off at half time and bringing that c.unt Maupay on????

Hope they go down
