Re: other matches this weekend
To keep saying that the draws with West Ham and Southampton have cost us is a complete fallacy.
Even if we'd won those two games we'd still be sitting second.
Also the latest garbage being spouted now is that Haaland is just 11 goals behind Dixie Dean's scoring record of 60 goals.
Dean got those goals in 39 games. Nobody caveats the Haaland praise with the fact he's played 47 already.

They are playing without pressure. Because we fucked up over a 4 game run. Relegation form at exactly the wrong time. We have blown it ourselves.Clummo99 wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 3:13 pmTo keep saying that the draws with West Ham and Southampton have cost us is a complete fallacy.

the fact Brighton are playing so well - as usual - is a positive for our vanishingly slim title hopes. If we can scavenge a win here who knows perhaps Brighton can do City.

We're creating chances, but it looks like our players are in some kind of trance... ie: Not ON it.

Certainly won't be shedding a tear for Leicester - bunch of c.unts
Enjoy the Championship! Sinking without trace
Brenda's legacy this. They say he wasn't backed in the transfer market- tell me that there isn't sufficient talent in that squad to outdo Bournemouth or Wolves. He's shit and they're shit! Good luck at the Spuds

As soon as the doping wore off and the Premier League and FA told them they were onto them but weren't going to spoil "the fairytale", they've been shit. Hope we hear all about Jamie Vardy having a relegation party. Hope they fuck off down the leagues where they belong.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 8:23 pmCertainly won't be shedding a tear for Leicester - bunch of c.unts

Funny that Liverpool haven’t been quite so good since their squad of “asthma sufferers “ hence allowed to use steroid inhalers got rumbled.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 3:30 pmAs soon as the doping wore off and the Premier League and FA told them they were onto them but weren't going to spoil "the fairytale", they've been shit. I didn't even know about it !
So they were using steroid inhalers and shouldn't have been? If so, surely that's doping and ought to attract severe punishment, including relegation.
No surprise that the media killed the story. We'd have been hounded and would be playing in the National League.

Re: other matches this weekend
Bin dippers had an inordinate and completely disproportionate amount of prescriptions for asthma medication in the season they won* the league. Very much like all those cyclists who claimed they "needed" a prescription for whatever during the Tour de France. The summer after Leicester won the league, there were stories about a Premier League club under severe scrutiny for doping offences. A few weeks later the whole thing disappeared and no inquiry ever took place. The following season they nearly got relegated and Ranieri 'vanished' for a bit.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 8:54 pmDB10GOONER wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 8:48 pmAlso funny how the media "forgot" about that so quickly.Stuart L (2) wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 7:55 pmFunny that Liverpool haven’t been quite so good since their squad of “asthma sufferers “ hence allowed to use steroid inhalers got rumbled.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 3:30 pmAs soon as the doping wore off and the Premier League and FA told them they were onto them but weren't going to spoil "the fairytale", they've been shit. Blimey. So a lot of asthma sufferers who required an inhaler, all managed to make it to the top level of professional football at Liverpool. How very intriguing. Nothing fishy I'm sure.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 9:52 pmBin dippers had an inordinate and completely disproportionate amount of prescriptions for asthma medication in the season they won* the league.
