To be honest Augie, my question is how the fuck are we managing to get 13-15 million for the absolute liability. Mind you, 20 million for Albert is quite a result too!

Not having to pay the Swiss turd off to leave is the result of the summer!! Sounds like he is finally going ,.......... although it could be a ploy by his agent to get a longer contract, Arteta will probably announce he's staying on a new 4 year contract on 200k a week after his excellent season!!

The most important deal we can do this summer is getting Lobotomy Clive out of the club. Let's not fuck about and let money get in the way here. Just pay Leverkusen whatever they are asking.
I'd rather Partey was sold TBH. He is injury prone and his form has gone off a cliff. Xhaka has had a far better season and would be a decent squad option.
£15-20m for Sambi would be good business. We probably need to sign 2 midfielders, Rice and Caciedo would be a lot of money to spend though.

Rice though quite big doesn't seem to be someone who likes to 'Mix It' and put his foot in, caicedo on the other hand looks like he is a good blend of Skills and Nastiness (if needed).
We definitely need any players coming in to be able to handle themselves in a fight>
These HAVE to go: xhaka (who is a coward), vieira (who looks anorexic), holding (well just NO!!!), Pepe (who is like a walking Spliff), Tomiyasu (too injury prone) Balogun (one half decent season away and he thinks he's Mbappe or something) Lakonga (just not up to it, nor ever will be), Turner (Not good enough to be a decent No2 and push Ramsdale at any given opportunity) and Nketiah(never will be up to standards required)... There are one or two others I think are out on loan but can't recall.
If we really want to challenge Etihad we'd go get Rice, Caicedo and Vlaihovic (?) Or another striker.
You have to ask yourself what would shitty do if they had Saka (god forbid) and Jesus, the answer is let them fight it out for a place on the wing, I'm pretty sure.
They knew Jesus was an excellent player but could never fulfill that no.9 spot, he's not clinical enough and doesn't have the height for playing it direct to him.
