ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Suits me pal. More appealing than a 10-2 Bayern battering or straight defeats 15 and 16 against City. Yay...we are back in the CL

Brentford need to make a decision on Toney now either sell him or he signs a new contract . No way they are paying his wages for 6 months only to move in January. Question is is he worth a punt now to push us on on the second half of the season ?

Aside from his Betting Habits (or is that Criminal Activities?) he's a good player and a decent striker, BUT would we want someone with (now) his History at Arsenal; in that once upon a time we were the by word for "Class".

I don't think he will be going anywhere near a Bookies in future; unless of course he is a Gambling Addict, in that case he just might be visiting the Clinic & Group Therapy Sessions that Tony Adams helps run for those with 'Addictions' Maybe Paul Merton can help him?

Who Da Fuck Knows ?

Arsenal will announce Bukayo Saka’s new deal in the next weeks — all done and agreed since February, documents ready. It will be valid until 2028. ⚪️🔴 #AFC

Final details being sorted with Aaron Ramsdale as he’s gonna sign new deal very soon.

So Arsenal are readying a £92 million bid for Rice when West ham want £120m. Not sure I understand what 'readying' means but never mind.

West Ham will of course reject the first bid and state that it doesn't come close to their valuation.
Arsenal will take a week or so to 'ready' another bid which will again fall way short of the hammers asking price and be rejected.

Another week will pass and Arsenal will dilly-dally and make another bid plus add ons that will once again fall short and be rejected.

More time will elapse as August approaches and then while Arsenal are getting closer to what West Ham want one of the richer clubs will come in and offer what they want and snap him up from under our noses.
Remind you of any other transfer?

This will then leave us with little time to get in a 2nd choice midfielder.

You can just see it playing out through the summer can't you. :anyminute:

You'd go as far as selling him or someone to challenge him ?

But if we went straight to the asking price people on here would slag the club for overpaying , as Steve O said dont fuck about just pay the extra and get them in early.

I'd keep him for the time being, but buy not just somebody to challenge him, but someone to replace him. I'd be after a new number one keeper.
