Yeah but the fookers are charging me so if i give it rrod they have to replace it with a brand new won. I have tried google, many say cover it in towels and heat it up, which i have done for the last 3 days. Just wondering if any of you had another idea. Anyway thanks

From my experience i would suggest just playing it for longer than a couple of hours - should do the trick.

Then when you get it back from Microsoft trade it for a PS3

Mine got RROD three times in six weeks, seriously faulty machines that shouldn't be on the market.

PS3 just sits there good as gold and doesnt make that ridiculous humming noise either :banghead:

Your probably right MN. It was very annoying though, especially as they take a good couple of weeks to fix it each time.

Microsoft extended the warranty on all x boxes as they are so dodge!!

I've heard cure and cause for rrod is overheating so wrap it in a heavy blanket and play it next to a radiatorfor a few hours!

No I only have SIXAXIS but my mate has one and he reckons its great.

About the Xbox problem, just try putting a game in and pressing a few buttons. Should make the piece of junk explode after a few minutes.

PS3! :barscarf:
