No idea if any intent for it to be an insult here bit doesnt in my head as I wouldn't mind being basque, fierce attitude, lovely part of the world, passionate, good looking, clever...if he had said oirish on the other hand well....that a different color horse completely...![]()

This basque c.unt has signed TWENTY FIVE players since he became AFC manager, and I dont think that you can hold even one of them as a major success - seems like him and arteta are learning nothing and are going to continue pissing money away this summer. In 3 years at the club I make it 9 players that he has signed and are already left the club - that is a staggering figure imo. For years now our board and owners have rightfully received loads of stick for insufficient investment in the playing squad, but right now serious questions need to be asked as to why no-one in the board is standing up and stopping this havertz deal - I dont want us to buy rice either but I can at least see why some are blinded to the folly of buying declan rice, but surely there is no-one that watches english football who cannot see what a totally ridiculous and braindead signing havertz would be ?? If we sign havertz then we deserve the serious decline that we will suffer next season![]()

I love that in this pc world people can throw around words like racism so effortlessly - I'm not nor have I ever been racist and dont care if our players or staff are white, black, orange or blue, or if they are english, Irish, american or any other nationality as long as they are of the required standard for my club. Fcuk off with that racism shit
Are you going to start calling out everyone that says "Scouse" / "Manc" / "Geordie" / "Middx" c.unt or whatever, when talking about rival fans?
If so, you're gonna be very busy on here, because it's no different to what Augie said.

I wonder where we'll stick him out on loan for the next 4 years, so that he feels completely unwanted, gets pissed off and looks for a move?

We bought martinelli at the same age from Corinthians and developed him into the first team is my point so why cant we do the same with this guy. The work permit rules have changed now meaning it will be easier to bring in South American talent unless I got the gost of your post wrong. My brain is a bit frazzled after the cricket today.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 8:35 pmgooner265 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 8:23 pmLike Martinelli you mean ?Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:22 pmmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 9:56 amEXCArsenal are on the verge of completing the signing of youngster Pedrinho from Corinthians. Ah, I see. Fair enough, we didn't do it with Martinelli, so you may be right. I suppose I'm scarred by the seemingly countless number of youngsters we've bought, but hardly ever seen over the years. Currently Saliba is one that we very nearly lost and it seems that he didn't exactly feel wanted by Arteta.
Anyway, hopefully you're right.

Mind you that fee is a lot higher than Gabis but theres a lot of talent out there we should take advantage of with the relaxed rules.

As much as I'd be happy to see Rice arrive, if West Ham are going to fuck around for 100m plus we should walk away and let them get on with an unhappy player. The money doesn't matter to me, but it does to them as will a disillusioned captain
Can't see City spending 100m on him, Liverpool already signed Mac Allister and Chelsea look set on Caceido and have about 100 midfielders anyway
Let them stew

Was there any need to make the Basque reference? It's nothing like calling someone a Scouser or Brummie, they don't even consider themselves Spanish ffs. Somehow I doubt you even know that. As soon as you refer to someone from a foreign country you have to be very careful what you say.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 8:18 pmnut flush gooner wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 6:48 pmI'm inclined to agree with Stuart. Agree with this and was going to post the same thing earlier. I don't want Rice and certainly not at that price, so easy for me to say, but we should leave the offer where it is and let them stew. If any of the big boys were really after him for that kind of money, they'd already be involved and more importantly, we wouldn't get him anyway, because we never seem to sign players others are genuinely interested in.
Leave the offer on the table, see what happens and make a point of looking at alternatives....personally I'd reignite the Caicedo interest, because I suspect he's a better prospect.

Wtf are you on about? I'm very aware of the Basque Separatist Movement and that they consider themselves Basque and not Spanish....the Catalans have a similar view but "somehow I doubt you even know that".

Anyway, what's the Basques not considering themselves Spanish got to do with it? Augie called him Basque and not Spanish, so he got it right. Why's it different to calling someone a Manc, or Scouse etc? Will you object to people using the term American or Yank when they're slating Kroenke, or are you only pc sensitive in favour of those you like? You'll probably reasonably often see me refer to Wenger as the old French fucker, because I'm pretty relaxed about him being all those things.
Grow up ffs.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I had to smile tonight because Wet Spam have been saying they can get several players in with the money they'll get for Rice. Their primary target is Palinha of Fulham...... And Fulham have now said they want 90m for him. Can't have it both ways Spammers!!!
