ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Twitter has applied a temporary limit to the number of tweets users can read in a day, owner Elon Musk has said.
In a tweet of his own, Mr Musk said unverified accounts are now limited to reading 1,000 posts a day.

Why not start some rumours of your own?

I'm sure I read somewhere that Arsenal were interested in signing MBappe!

Better still, start Strong Rumours that we are in for Voiced and with enough repetitions of the rumour we just might sign him!

My son is claiming probably via twitter that the Rice delay is due to the spammers wanting a sell-on clause.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised by the way the ScummyCunts are conducting themselves in the negotiations... They're ScummyCunt of a club and so ......

Our counter proposal to the sell on clause is apparently to include Granit Xhaka in the deal for free. West Ham have agreed to leave the sell on clause out.

In all seriousness I say we just walk away. This is amateur hour if it is in any way true. We are the only show in town and they think they have the leverage to put in a sell on clause. Sell on clauses are not for big transfers. They are for selling young talent when you aren’t sure if they may kick on. It’s because you sold them on the cheap and you want something back if they get good.

These fucking chumps are on a different planet.

They think/know we're desperate and are taking full advantage. Moyes is no doubt chipping in, because I've always had the feeling that he hates us.

You're right Bob, time to say that our offer is on the table, we've met their price, but that's it. Tell them we won't agree to their ridiculous demand for a sell-on clause and walk away saying call us if you want to accept our offer. Then steam in for Caicedo and other centre mids, because there aren't many that 105 million wouldn't get us. Rice would go Potty at them.

Apparently West Ham are looking at Guendouzi to replace Rice. We have a 15% sell on clause so we would make millions off any deal.

I'd take Guendouzi back no problem, but he wasn't one of Captain Black's good boys.
