Arsenal and West Ham, now really close to final agreement on payment terms for Declan Rice.
#AFC
Final green light expected very soon for both Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, as both deals are at very advanced stages since Thursday/Friday.
More to follow.

West Ham presser at 2pm today supposedly, where they’ll apparently be announcing Rice leaving them.
Fee structure agreed as 40% of the entire fee up front with the remainder being paid in instalments over the next three years.

And we can all watch the Media Whores taking zillions of pictures of the presser and when Rice eventually dons the beloved Red & White of Arsenal, then when the Hoo Hah! has died down around this Saga, the same media Whores (Journo's, Pundit's etc etc) will all be waiting, hoping and praying that he makes some kind of mistake in a game... which of course is bound to happen; everyone makes mistakes. And so the headlines will read something along the lines of
"RICE PRICE TOO HEAVY A WEIGHT FOR THE PLAYER AS HE STRUGGLES TO MEET EXPECTATIONS " Or whatever else shyte they (and those who didn't want us to sign him and /or pay the high fee for him) will come up with in their Twisted Little Worlds.
It's always the same, a player can can have 5 really good games on the trot; He (*) makes one mistake and gets pilloried.
(*) I only use the term He (and not include She) Because as we all know Female footballers are perfect and can do no wrong even though 99.99999% of them are fucking Useless.

Lavia looks a decent player but surely it is about his potential as I would not see him in the starting eleven straight away, more a squad player so a Refusal of £45 million is surprising.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 10:15 am|| Arsenal are reportedly unwilling to meet Southampton’s £45m valuation for midfield star Roméo Lavia [Via - @RyanTaylorSport].

So what you are saying, is that the kid is signing a new deal cos the club have signed rice ??? What absolute nonsense![]()
At that age the kid (and his agent and parents) are worried about two things only - (1) how good is the contract offer (2) what are his prospects of progressing through to the first team. Anyone that says or thinks otherwise is lying or delusional

Don’t think he showed anything of substance at Norwich to earn a squad place with us.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 03, 2023 12:58 pmArsenal are discussing the future of Marquinhos with another loan or a permanent move away not ruled out.
