ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Have to laugh at the daily workout videos being posted by Pepe’s management team on Insta all week where he’s giving the appearance of working his bollocks off in the gym to try and drum up some interest in order to dupe some poor suckers into buying the useless c.unt this summer.

Probably poses for the 30 second video before having a Spliff then fucking off back to bed.
Slight adjustment there Rodders :D

Doesn't have to go back to bed, from what we've seen on the pitch he sleeps while walking about with his eyes open. Well, open-ish.

I guess that will either be someone that Edu or one of our Ex-Brazilian players (Gilberto?) knows about....

🚨Partey has agreed personal terms with Al-Hilal it was described to me as ‘big money on the way’ (in terms of personal terms salary). It will now be down to the clubs to agree a fee if it was to happen

🚨 Al Ahli have also offered £400k per week over 4 years. They have offered £30 mil verbally. Not enough. Arsenal want £45+ mil

Arsenal hope to announce Jurrien Timber transfer tomorrow.

Club had wanted to fly Timber out to Germany but a small contract issue meant it didn't work out.

Some of the media rags are claiming that the shammers are losing patience with AFC over dragging out the finalising of this deal for rice - even though I wouldnt be disappointed if it didnt go through, I still have to say that from the outside it looks shambolic on our clubs behalf that this deal hasnt been completed yet. The talk is that the paperwork is with the AFC lawyers, but what the fcuk can the hold up be about ? Surely our lawyers are well versed in dealing with transfer contracts ? If we hadnt agreed a price I would have no problem dragging this thing out in the hope that we could knock price down some, but having agreed a fee there is no obvious reason why things should be dragged out like this

Missed this news earlier, he is a hell of a player and £34m a bargain, doubt we could match the wages though

Part of the headline for the friendly report on sky reads....."Folarin Balogun wasted two glorious opportunities"

Stop playing him and sell sell sell

I don’t get the whole Saudi thing and why they’re happy to massively overpay players. Jordan Henderson 700 grand a week? So if they “only” offered him say 300 grand a week he’d turn it down? Would he fuck.

All the players are being offered crazy money, double, treble what they would happily sign on for anyway. Makes fuck all sense.

Sportswashing and currying favour with big clubs. Chelsea and Liverpool are sorting their finances out via the Saudis. It’s fraud.

Note they haven't signed anyone of Genuine "Worth". only players who are average and most of them are in the latter years of the playing days...

It's the Arabic version of the MSL = The only difference being they do actually call it Football, unlike the Arrogant Gobby YankeeWankyCunts
