ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sportswashing and currying favour with big clubs. Chelsea and Liverpool are sorting their finances out via the Saudis. It’s fraud.
Give it six months and they'll be loaning them back to the same clubs whilst paying their full wages. All in exchange for pre-season friendlies and pitch side adverts promoting the gay beheaders.

🚨 EXCL: Besiktas have submitted an offer to sign Rob Holding from Arsenal. Proposal for centre-back worth €2.5m. Far below what #AFC might consider to sell & will be rejected. 27yo has 1yr left on contract + club option to extend by 12mnth @TheAthleticFC

Note they haven't signed anyone of Genuine "Worth". only players who are average and most of them are in the latter years of the playing days...

It's the Arabic version of the MSL = The only difference being they do actually call it Football, unlike the Arrogant Gobby YankeeWankyCunts

Far be it for me to defend the yanks, but have you got the dvd "89" or a copy of the itv coverage of the title winning game in 1989 ? ITV's pre match coverage used the word "soccer" so this bu!!shit slating american (and Irish football fans slate other Irish fans for using the word soccer) for not calling it football should stop imo if english people were calling it soccer themselves over 30 years ago

There has to be a suspicion that the Saudi’s are financing clubs through the back door, 70 million for Fabihno and Henderson? Sounds legit

Where were Saudi-based club friends when we were getting rid of our deadwood. Meanwhile, Liverpool almost asking (and maybe getting) 40m for a washed up Fabinho and around 20 for a midfielder that can’t play football but gets into the England squad based on friendship.

They supposedly bid 25m for Partey.

Absolute piss take but then again we deserve it for the way we conduct transfers

More on the potential departure of Thomas Party, Al-Hilal will push hard soon🔜

Understand Moises Caicedo, FDJ and Camavinga are top targets to replace if Arsenal sanction a Partey move✅

Arsenal will only sell Partey for the right fee, so they can secure a top replacement👍

If Partey does leave; and it's looking more likely with more rumours of his Off-the -pitch conduct :? I Would Love His Replacement To be Caicedo.

About time we started playing Hard Ball with other teams/clubs etc
