ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Oh ffs, I have had a complaint about this post from a non regular. As I said to him, it is not racist. It is broad humour based on a clichéd stereotype and within the rules of the forum. What the fuck is wrong with these people? Not everything is racist. Woke bastards.

As Paddy said to Mick, "hey lad is that a shamrock hanging out of your arse there?" and Mick respon- hey, hang on.....

Fuck off. :barscarf:

🚨 Folarin Balogun trained separately from the Arsenal squad during Monday’s session in Los Angeles. Balogun was working with an individual coach rather than going through the more intense work with Mikel Arteta on the pitch. [@TheAthleticFC] #afc

Hopefully he'll be training with another team real soon. Shame he can't take eddie with him.

300 million euro for Mbappe and they’re going to pay him 700 million for one year.

Yeah that sounds totally legit
These c.unts are throwing money at players to get them in their league which no one watches or is likely to as it's shite.
You are also describing ITV, BBC and the women’s World Cup!

Yesterday in a moment of extreme boredom I watched a clip of AFTV (dont judge me    ) transfer show and the guy was talking about a transfer rumour doing the rounds that we are considering offering martinelli plus cash for mbappe (taking bu!!shit rumours to a whole new level imo) - the thing about this story that surprised me though, was that he asked a few of the regular guys whether they would support a deal offering martinelli plus cash for mbappe, and apparently every single one of them said no

Listen I know that there is more of a chance of me shagging mila kunis than there is of us signing mbappe, so spending any real time dwelling on it is pointless, but given how we dwell on other pointless bu!!shit rumours, I did think about it some. I like martinelli a lot as a player even though sometimes he does seem to run down blind alleys, but he is a great team player and shows no fear - however mbappe is a genuine game changer and even though I do have concerns over his attitude at times, I do wonder if a sneaky call to psg offering jesus plus cash might be in order ? :rubchin: The guy has openly said that AFC would be his first choice if he moved to premier league (seemingly he loved watching Henry and AFC back in the day and would like to end our 20 yerar league famine), and it would be a real statement signing for kroenke's too.

In all likelihood he wont go to saudi unless it is for one season only, so that crazy transfer fee and wages offer that are on the table can be discarded imo - what will be left then is a player with 12 months remaining on his contract, and a tiny list of clubs that the player would be willing to sign for, so psg will have to lower their demands massively to get him out the door. Maybe I am delusional but I certainly think that the transfer fee should be manageable for AFC if a player like jesus or odeargod was used in the deal, but the wages thing would be a massive issue for us (although considering that we gave havertz a pay rise maybe not  ) and would likely finish any faint hopes we would have of signing him.

Have to be honest though, I would still contact psg and player to see if a deal could be done

Since premier league era began (football didnt exist before then  ), we have bought more players from the chavs than we have any other club in the world

ARSENAL

Favourite club: CHELSEA (8 players signed, £100m) - William Gallas, Lassana Diarra, Yossi Benayoun (loan), Petr Cech, David Luiz, Willian, Jorginho, Kai Havertz.

£100m and you couldnt claim even one of them was a success   :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
