It's mad to think I'm still disappointed after the club spending 200m.

We need a fucking striker
I'm glad someone else feels the same! When I was on the tube yesterday going to the game, all the talk was about signing this fucking keeper from Brentford, and another winger. Fuck sake, it was like when Arteta first joined and we had 9 centre halves......how many do we fucking need on the wing?

Where as up front we have Jesus - infrequent scorer and now seemingly ongoing issues with this injury - and Nketiah. I'm not counting Balogun as its obvious he's been farmed out, and Havertz isn't a number 9.

We are desperately short up front - biggest weakness now in the squad IMO

Matt Turner has passed his medical ahead of signing for Nottingham Forest. 🌳

Astute business from #NFFC who sign the USMNT no.1 for around £7m.

Arsenal now finalising details of David Raya's pending move to north London, set to be confirmed this week. #AFC

We need someone up front who can shoot on target let alone a proper striker. Sure Martinelli, Saka and Odegarde can do it quite well but we need a hungry goal scorer...sharpish!!

I’ve a feeling that if Toney 365 hadn’t gotten a ban we’d have gone for in him this summer, and my other feeling is that once his ban is up in January we’ll be back.

🚨 EXCL: Arsenal reject written bid from Monaco for Folarin Balogun. Follows verbal offer turned down by #AFC after friendly. #ASMonaco pursuit ongoing - sporting directors have good relationship. #Inter keen but unclear if can afford @TheAthleticFC #USMNT

Arsenal very close to securing David Raya transfer, according to sources close to negotiations. Still work to be done to finalise the deal but Gunners keeper business is accelerating quickly ahead of opening day.

Bidding war….good. Bidding war between two clubs that haven’t a fucking pot to piss in…bad.

Having had a chance to think about this is there a possibility that Arteta could go completely left field on this one and have no first choice keeper but instead pick one of Raya or Ramsdale depending on the opposition?

(Yes I’ve had a few cans)

There is a picture of “Raya” in among the fans on Sunday at Wembley ( hard to be sure as they have a hat and a hoody on )

Negotiations continue between Arsenal and Brentford for David Raya. It’s getting closer, all parties hope to get it done in the next few days 🔴⚪️ #AFC

Raya has been very clear: he wants to play for Arsenal.
