ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nuno Tavares and Nottingham Forest, deal currently OFF — as he’s already considering different options. 🌳⛔️

After what's happened with Timber he would be a very good signing. :|

If we could get any money for him it would be a steal.

After deal collapsed with Forest, Aston Villa are exploring conditions of deal to sign Nuno Tavares from Arsenal 🟣🔵

Personal terms not discussed yet — as up to the clubs now.

Nuno, alternative option to Marcos Acuna deal with Sevilla for Villa.

🚨 EXCL: Mikel Arteta today requested a meeting with Nico Pepe and his team to discuss his long term future. In a complete U-Turn the club are discussing the possibility of Pepe returning as back up for Bukayo Saka as long as he can show commitment to the clubs vision. ✅️

IF TRUE, it is yet another example of the total lack of plan or strategy on behalf of el basque and edu - parety was on his way out and now he is key player, 5 players started left back in pre-season ahead of tierney and yet el basque claims that he wants him to stay, and now we are supposedly seeing the mother and father of all u turns by welcoming pepe back into our plans

If true, big disclaimer there, hopefully it's just a ploy to move along any bid for him that's stalled (with us still probably picking up 99% of his wages  )
