ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

I get the impression there are now a few bargains about. Trust us to do our business early and pay over the odds in the one season where it was better to wait until the end.

Spunking 65 mil up the wall on that arsepiece Havertz could go down as the biggest fuck up of all time.

Can't wait for the window to close

Same as that - we spent 208m in this transfer window and have a worse team this season than we had last season

We have a glaring need at striker that wont be addressed tomorrow, and we are hung up on trying to sign a full back but if the basque clown put gabriel back into the squad and moved white back to right back, we would be much better straight away.

I dunno whether the blame rests on pep's cone boy or edu, but I honestly dont trust them in the transfer market at all

I can't agree there augster old buddy. We have flushed Lobotomy Clive and that instantly made us a better team. We have added Oirish Deckers Rice, a good and on his day very good player. I don't think we have a worse team than last season, I think we just don't have a much better team this season than last season which we really should have. But part of that is down to Arteta playing silly buggers as Wenger-Lite with team selections and part down to not signing one of the biggest things we needed - a top goal scoring striker.

We are not worse but we are not as "better" as we should be. If you get what I mean. :?

Always get a bit melancholic on transfer deadline day reminiscing about the glory days of yore.

Our Nat’s magnificent bangers, rowdy crowds and dildos at dawn outside training grounds, snake oil Ivan and the great economist frantically thrashing around the bargain bins of Europe in search of some shite that will be dressed up as “super qualiteeee”.

It just doesn’t have that same je ne sais quoi anymore

I thought they’d streamlined all of Europe’s transfer windows (the Saudis will do what the want) so that they all close on the same day to give certainty to clubs that what they have they’ll hold?

Now it’s all over the place again :banghead:

Of the turds we’re still trying to flush, Holding and Pepe have interest from Turkey - window open until the 15th and Cedric has clubs in Portugal enquiring about him - window open until the fucking 22nd :banghead:

Transfer deadline day me hole, and with Saudi clubs apparently also eying up Pepe (and Gabriel for that matter) and their window open until the 7th things will be up in the air for a while yet.

Yes we flushed the swiss turd but replaced him with a like for like german turd - zero improvement imo

I didnt say that we havent a better squad, but the reality is that this team, as pep's cone boy is currently lining them up, is SIGNIFICANTLY weaker than last season and I doubt you can disagree - put Gabriel back in the team and go back to last seasons positions for white and partey and automatically the team is massively improved, but pep's cone boy is operating on a different intellectual level than ordinary people and he knows best    :censored: :censored:

There is going to be a major change in the transfer market as the Saudi's get more established . For the next few years they will continue to rape the established clubs for their stars until they start picking up the young South American and African players as they emerge by giving them money that Europe cannot afford.
There will be no more Martinellis if they go for the money.

Crystal Palace favourites to snap up Rob Holding as they "look to strengthen defensively." Isn't that an oxymoron :? :?
