They are all over the place as a club right now and with news of their takeover collapsing, a good win for us today would do a lovely bit of damage to them. Come on, Arsenal, let's fucking smash 'em.

So back 4 tomorrow likely to be

Tomiyasu White Saliba Zinchenko/Kiwior

So that leaves only Zinchenko/Kiwior, Gabriel and Soares in our squad.

2 players + Soares. In the whole squad and no defenders are injured at this time.
I am hoping Arteta uses some common sense, puts White at right back, and brings back Gabriel.

You can hope all you like - it is the obvious thing to do which means that you can put your house on the gormless fool keeping white at centre back and playing tommy at right back  :banghead: :banghead: :cussing: :cussing:

We’ve played three below average sides so far and looked far from convincing against any of them.

People can say what they want about this Utd side, but they’re a definite step up from those first three teams and if Mkll goes with the same set up again…which I’m sure he’ll do out of sheer stubbornness…then we’ll be very fortunate to scrape a draw, but will likely lose.

They’ll also be kicking us all over the park, especially Casemiro and Martinez, just like the pre season game.

Not at all confident about this. :(

I'd probably agree with 8 or 9 of those players and their positions.
We really need to win this. Liverpool will be much better this year as will Spurs and City already making a statement.
Nothing less than 3 points here will suffice.

Zinchenko is no Full Back, when he played for $hitty he always had either a reliable Full-back behind him or a reliable Mid-fielder in front of him who could track back and defend, he has skills yes, but more creative than defensive. And Havertz MUST step up and be counted today.

Thank fuck for that. I wonder if he’d have done this is Partey wasn’t injured?

Looking forward to seeing how Rice performs in a proper set up.

Partey must be injured as he's not even on the Bench.

BBC:

1 Ramsdale
4 White
2 Saliba
6 Gabriel
35 Zinchenko
8 Ødegaard
41 Rice
29 Havertz
7 Saka
14 Nketiah
11 Martinelli

Substitutes

9 Gabriel Jesus
10 Smith Rowe
15 Kiwior
18 Tomiyasu
19 Trossard
20 Jorginho
21 Fábio Vieira
22 Raya
24 Nelson?

If things go well I am hoping to see ESR get some game time... Yeah! I knowwww.... but WTFK!? :|

All I ever wanted was a steady journeyman type to replace Xhaka. A top quality player would have been fantastic, but any reliable workhorse would have been a massive improvement. What does Captain Black do to replace his old favourite? He gives us a bloke every bit as bad, if not worse!! Never thought it was possible. :(

I know Caicedo isn't having a good time at the Chavs, but I just keep thinking if we'd signed him instead of Havertz how "Powerful" our Mid-field would be. :?

He can change it all today if he turns up against these MancCunts.
