Viera offered nothing. Trossard not much. All going down the right giving 65 yr old young f all to do.
Nothing central to threaten whatsoever.
Yes the offside oal would have opened it all up but even that was complete lucky break from Eddie coming back.
We offering no threat. It's not a new gripe.
Everton truly are gash yet we have had no chances bar the offside.
So so poor.
Odergaard needs to drop a bit deeper and pick a pass bit then there static Eddie offering nothing in the middle so he can't really do that.
We need to sort this out

We're all saying that we should've bought a striker and I agree totally with that, but to be fair even if we had a proper striker he wouldn't have had much of a chance in that half because we never created anything.
Hook Eddie off please, at least Jesus is creative.

We just need to shake ourselves out of the million mindless sideways passes and zero tempo football.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 4:23 pmNeed Jesus on. Still plenty of time. We get one, we'll get three

I think he has been OK. No end product but more effective than recently when it's been played to him but he's not getting involved much. But he's up against the awful mykalanko and should be beating him every time.rodders999 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 4:22 pmSaka invisible in a game where we’ve absolutely dominated the ball for 45 minutes. There is zero justification for starting him he’s form is in the bin he’s been completely overplayed in the last 18 months.
All our problems coming from Eddie.

We have been dreadful. I love Saka but he has been dogshit, as has Nketiah. We are there for the taking at the moment.

True to an extent but Eddie standing around doing f all is not creating space, occupying defenders or offering a pass.Midz wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 4:26 pmWe're all saying that we should've bought a striker and I agree totally with that, but to be fair even if we had a proper striker he wouldn't have had much of a chance in that half because we never created anything.

A striker who made an effort would at least help there.
I'd possibly rather see klive there than Eddie as he just doesn't seem in thr mood...as I say 1 in 5 games he makes an effort the rest he does f all

What a load of utter bollocks from the panel at half time. “Calibration”, “Deliberate act”. Gabriel played the ball sideways and it deflected through to Nketia who may or may not have been a toe offside but no direct angle to show it full on! It truly is killing the joy of football and spontaneous celebration.
Still think we’ll win by a couple. COYG!!!

Yeah but there is nobody else - or maybe you would prefer Havertz to take his place?rodders999 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 17, 2023 4:22 pmSaka invisible in a game where we’ve absolutely dominated the ball for 45 minutes. Gabriel passing it sideways and the Everton clogger hoofing it upfield. Totally legit.
