As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Apparently Arteta & Edu tried to sign Raya BEFORE they eventually signed Ramsdale but Brentford refused to sell (Perhaps understandably?)
Thing is if Arteta were to select Rambo ahead of Raya for the NLD and Rambo made a faux-pa he would get absolutely slaughtered and whilst Raya has had an easy time of it so far in the games he has played, he has still looked very assured when called upon.
The rumours about a Trossard injury appear unfounded on 5 Live this morning, the only injuries are (beside long term Timber) are Martinelli (Groin Strain) and Partey Muscle damage. BWTFK !?
My PMT has really kicked in this morning. If Trossard and Martinelli are injured that could be a big blow. Part of me thinks that if the Spuds try an all-out attack approach then we will have loads of space to hurt them. My worry is our left-hand side behind Zinckenko that will be exposed by the Trophy Dodgers. My other worry is Arteta trying to be too clever with his team selection. Hopefully, he picks the same team as Wednesday night.

That is good news about Trossard. Ramsdale has done well in games against the Spuds so I am not too worried about him. Hopefully, Smith Rowe will come on at some point as he also plays well against the Tiny Totts.
No game gets the juices flowing quite like this one, but I fucking hate it all the same.
I know it's very early days, but they look a different proposition so far this season, even having lost their goalscoring talisman and Postecoglou has to take the credit for that. Tin hat time here, but I have to say that I like the bloke. He seems to be a straight talking proper man, who doesn't want to get caught up in media hype and crap and doesn't seem like a cry baby. Time might change my opinion on that, but I like his style so far. Of course, I still hope he falls flat on his face and that they end up in the same mess as usual.
The game today is hard to call and as we're at home, I doubt they'll come out of the blocks at 100 mph as they tend to at their place, but it doesn't seem to be Postecoglou's style to sit deep. I think they'll press us very high, which means there'll be space if we can beat the press and similarly, I expect them to try to get forward and take the game to us, which is exactly what we want, as it creates space and is what undid PSV.
Still, who knows, he might go for more cagey tactics than usual and just look to hit us on the break.
I'll take a win of any sort and just get this out of the way.
We're going to smash these c.unts today - 4-1 to the Arsenal
Never heard such misplaced confidence and arrogance coming out of the cesspit on the back of that scraped win against Sheffield United. By all means come and rock up like PSV, and if and when you do, you'll be smashed out of sight

Time for these delusional no-mark trophylessCUNTS to get back in the shadow of THE Arsenal.
