Will we have anyone actually fit?
The mighty Cedric might get a run out. ESR will probably still be a sub FFS

Should play a strong team because it’s the only cup we can probably win this season.
In modern football though it is an afterthought and so we won’t.
Much more important to finish in the top 5 these days

On today's showing we'll be lucky to do that.Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2023 7:37 pmShould play a strong team because it’s the only cup we can probably win this season.

The sad reality is that the second-string team is now the first-string, so we're not in the position to give many a rest for this one.
It's all going to hell, rather quickly.

Ordinarily I would opt for giving game time to squad players here, but will swapping out the keepers again lead to more confusion here ??? Because the team is not playing well this season, does winning this game take on a bigger significance ? Who knows what will happen

If we play against Brentford like we did against the Scum: Sloppy and Not Tight in our Passing and Organisation they will tear us a new one.
I don't know why? But we have better / new players and a (slightly) better quality squad, but we have lost that "Spark" that saw us really Gell and destroy teams last year.
Maybe Arteta has tinkered too much in the wrong areas.

Think this is a perfect time to rest players, we don't need any more injuries to key players. The likes of Nelson, ESR etc should start

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will miss his side's Carabao Cup tie at Brentford on Wednesday and could also be out of Saturday's league game at Bournemouth.

Will do him good to have a rest anyway, as long as he's fit against City.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 6:37 pmBBC:

Nelson should start, none of this Jesus wide and Eddie up top nonsense, although he might have to play Jesus wide against Bournemouth if all of Trossard, Martinelli and Saka are out.
Arteta gave Nelson a new deal, why if so reluctant to play him?, fvck knows what's the deal with ESR.
Feels like Arteta is still only trusting 13-14 players, he has no choice but to rely on a few others for the next game or two.

Agree.
I mean why bother expanding / building the squad if he is still going to only rely on & play 14 players? It doesn't make sense.
Anyhoo.
Havertz & ESR to score tonight.
