As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Can you enlighten me on arsenal fanatics. Google returns a shop!

They are a Facebook account - often posting pictures or news before it gets picked up and retweeted by the likes of Fabrizio or Ornstein, but they don’t have the amount of followers as those guys so don’t get the credit.
Not sure what village they live in mind, but they also have reported that Timber is progressing very well and could be back much earlier than expected originally.

#AFC | Emile Smith Rowe is on Newcastle's radar ahead of the winter window [Northern Echo].
- ESR 'has emerged as potential target'
- Arsenal would want £50m
- #NUFC have 'discussed' 23yo in the past and prefer initial loan
I’d take £50m for him in a heartbeat. I can’t see him kicking on. Whether that’s because he the idiot in charge doesn’t think he’s good enough OR injury has ruined his potential.
Each time he has featured for us this year he’s looked well off the pace. My old man (a Spurs fan) kept saying to me during the NLD “you’ve got Smith Rowe on the bench, bring him on and you’ll win it” - and I remember, not too long ago, that would likely be true.
Whether it’s just match fitness and Arteta doesn’t plays him for X reason, OR whether he’s kissed something due to his injury record, it’s a shame. I genuinely liked the lad. I thought he could kick on to be something special with us. Can’t see it now, though. And with his injury record, I’d take £50m in a heartbeat.

We've got a fucking cheek asking for £50m in my opinion. A player that El Basque clearly doesn't fancy and who is behind Havertz, Vieira, Jorginho and the tea lady in the pecking order. Don't forget that he was also behind Xhaka. How lowly must the manager rate a player who is behind that group of stiffs?!
That said, if ESR can fulfil the potential I've always thought he's had, then £50m is a bargain. I've been saying it for ages, but the boy has to go to salvage his career. The only problem with the Geordies is that they can splash the dough and he might find once again that he's in a big squad and isn't an automatic pick. I'd rather see him go to Villa and unite with Emery. If we could get Douglas Luiz in return, I'd be very happy.
Personally I still dont believe that we are in for Toney or any other high priced striker - I think pep's cone boy knows that signing a new first choice number 9 should relegate jesus to the bench and he wont do that cos he hasnt the balls imo. I think that IF we sign a new first choice striker, then martinelli better watch his back cos he will be the easiest to drop of the front 3, and jesus will move out there
I should add that even though I do like Toney as a striker, I wonder if Osimhen from napoli would be a better signing - both are gonna be expensive so we should go for the extra quality imo
