Alexander Hleb's defining moment as an Arsenal player?

Goals? Exactly how many goals do you remember - not many I bet.
Wasn't talking about his whole Arsenal career Hanny.

Just the beginning of this season, when he played just off Ade in a true CAM role.

goodbye and good riddance
Blimey smoothie you feeling ok?
Next he will be having a go at Swiss Phil
if players like Hleb and Ade showed the commitment of Swiss Phil we wouldnt have a problem

but Hleb you won nothing with us and I pray to god you win nothing with Barca
I agree but most of the time it was because he had run himself into a corner and had no where to go - it should not make a difference but in those situations refs are less likely than if he is actually going somewhere i.e. towards the goal!

I am shit at football and even i would get one chance or have one bad decission against me....by accident! Yes he was fouled and yes it was because he has great ball control and is quite quick with the ball but the fact is he was 99% of the time going no where.

He is not good enough for the arsenal team and we will be better off without him.

Against Reading at home this season...good build up play (we were totally outplaying the losers (who I said that day would go down based on their shite attitude and ability)) Hleb had a one on one with the keeper.....

Did he shoot? No
Did he make a decisive pass? No
Did he dribble aimlessly, attract three defenders, run to the line, try a couple of fancy tricks then lose the ball? YES

Typical Hleb - good at building up opportunities but scared of making a shot or good pass. He will not be missed. Good luck in the quiet backwater rural location that is Barca!
Was that just before he bitch-slapped a player and got suspended for the rest for the rest of the season?

WE'VE MADE £0.7m ON HIM :)

Hmmm Hlebby's defining moment.....errrm...possibly his goal against West Brom when the ball came off the defender and he got it in from the tightest of angles. The goal however wasn't the defining moment...the sheer luck was the defining moment. Oh and this was a struggle so i googled it and the goal was the first link lol

anyway wasn't Hlebby the one who openly critisised Henry for holding him and the rest back? Wonder how that one goes down

I know I might be lambasted by a few on here but the stand out memory of hleb for me will always be the stupid stupid free kick he gave away v psv in champs league from which alex scored the goal that put us out  That single moment encapsulates everything that is frustrating about hleb :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

By the way ssn have gone through his stats and in 3 seasons he has had 10 goal assists for us - 10 :?: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Bad enough that he dont score enough goals for an attacking midfielder but only 10 assists is truely shocking

My defining memory will be his hard work against Real Madrid, eventually he came off after having run his socks into the ground.

I think Hleb was our best attacking player but was never truly valued by the fans, one of the best shows of this was when his 5th place in Fink Tank player of the season sparked debate over if Fink Tan worked. If Cesc costs us a goal, misses an open goal and then shins the ball in, Cesc gets praised. If Hleb dribbles past the Liverpool midfield then sent Cec through for that shinned goal, nothing. If Hleb gets an assist and wins a penalty to turn the game around, few praise him. If Hleb creates chance after chance against Man U, doesn't get the praise.

We are going to miss him badly as I see nobody in the squad with his ability to destroy a defence with one pass
