If you could meet any 5 arsenal player's or management?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If you could meet any 5 arsenal player's or management?

Post by Ben-gooner14 »

In a french lesson today we were asked to write down 5 famous people that we would like to meet and what 3 questions we would ask them. As my list consitited of 3 people related with Arsenal i've decided to change the name. So which 5 people associated with Arsenal would you most like to meet alive or dead and 3 questions you would ask them.

On my list I had:
Thierry Henry
Arsene Wenger
David Dein
Tony Adams
Charlie George.

THERE ARE MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS.

Post by I Hate Hleb »

ARSENE WENGER - WHY HAVEN'T YOU EXPERIMENTED MORE WITH DIFFERENT PLAYING SYSTEMS DURING YOUR ARSENAL TENURE? (4-3-3; 3-5-2 ETC.); AND A SECOND QUESTION IF I MAY: ARSENE, PASCAL CYGAN - WHY??

THIERRY HENRY - WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST COME OUT WITH THE TRUTH WHEN YOU DECIDED YOU WANTED TO LEAVE, RATHER THAN ALL THAT DEIN/WENGER BULL-SHIT? YOU LOST SOME RESPECT THERE MATEY!!

DAVID DEIN - WHAT WAS THE REAL CAUSE OF THE 'BOARDROOM BUST-UP' AND WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS NOW?

HERBERT CHAPMAN - NO QUESTIONS. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO THANK HIM FOR MAKING ARSENAL A RENOWNED NAME IN THE WORLD OF FOOTBALL

SIR HENRY NORRIS - AFTER EVERYTHING YOU WENT THROUGH TO GET ARSENAL TO HIGHBURY AND THEN MAKING US ESTABLISHED AS A FIRST DIVISION CLUB; AND IN LIGHT OF YOUR PUNISHMENT FOR CERTAIN 'ILLEGAL' DEALS, WOULD YOU SAY IT WAS ALL WORTH IT?

IHH you're really annoying me tonight.

Everytime I read a thread and think what my reply will be i come across one of your posts and it's the same as what i was thinking!!

Maybe question someone like Bastin/James/Drake or one of the founders to see if they could believe that the club would be like it is now when they started it all.

Patrick Vieira - when miy wife got your autograph it looks supiciously like you just wrote 'piss off'. Did you write piss off? I wont hit you.

Eddie McGoldrick - did you think that it was Steve Penk calling you when you got the call that Arsenal were interested in you?

Mr Norris - what do you think of Tottenham? What do you think of shit?

Martin Jol - is your wife really a whore?

my top 5 are Arsene Wenger (have meet), David dein (have also meet but only to say hi), Dennis Bergkamp, Tony Adams and Cesc Faregas. These 5 i would invite round for a drink

I have meet AW, DD, TA and DB when i was a VIP back in 1998 but only for a short while i spent most of the day with Ken Friar which was funny because i was 10 and didnt know who he was but i remember he sat me in his directors chair and said thats where the big decisions are made and said he had just been on the phone about using wembly as arsenals home ground (i was quite inpressed) then said if any player could walk in now who would it be? i said Dennis and within 5 minute Dennis appeared (my happiest moment in my life)

I actually bumped into Kolo Toure in Wood Green the other day. He was standing outside Weatherspoons chatting with some friends. Apparently he'd had a meal at Nandos next door :D . I took a picture with him on my phone, shook his hand and wished him good luck for the season ahead...people came up to him all the time so didn't wanna bother him too much.

My friends who saw him earlier told me they'd had a little chat with him though. They told him they were season ticket holders (which they are) and told him they better win something this season and he asked if they enjoyed the football arsenal were playing.
