Very true DB - Bergkamp was god, it blew my mind watching that man play football, an artist on grass. I worship the ground that man walks on and you’ll never hear a single word of criticism about him outta me.

And absolutely he created a lot of those chances for Freddie to tuck away (I must dig out that season review DVD some evening and just smile my way through it with a few cans). Those were some fucking glorious days, man I miss them.

I suppose my point is, it’s not like there’s a shortage of chances being created currently, it’s just that there’s no c.unt capable of putting any of them away (as the 1 goal from 61 attempts stat testifies  )
Amen buddy, some of the best football you're ever likely to see.

I wonder what the record is for least amount of goals scored v chances created? Can't be arsed to look it up though :goingtobed:

to get Monday off to a super start

from sky sports

Mikel Arteta will knock back approaches for Eddie Nketiah this January despite Crystal Palace's willingness to pay around £30m for the Arsenal striker, claims the Daily Express.

The 24-year-old has started only one league game since November 4 but has featured in all-but one of Arsenal's Premier League games this season, scoring five times.

30 million......I'd have a human sized gift wrap and bow done up all nice and drop him down myself!

🔴⚪️ | TRANSFERS: Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise prefers a move to Arsenal over Manchester United. (Per @EveningStandard)

Palace will reportedly demand £40m for Olise, but the Gunners could possibly have an edge in the deal with the Eagles wanting striker Eddie Nketiah. Could be a move that helps both parties. 🇫🇷 #AFC #cpfc #Transfers

Michael Olise for £10m is a no brainer. Wake up Arsenal.

Can't remember who the bloke is from Everton but after the latest news of them facing another charge for financial irregularities, I'd imagine that they might very well be keen to sell him to us for a knock-down price.

Just looked at a you tube compilation and some good assists in there, but mainly crosses for a header…. If we had a striker up top who could head the ball he would be a great purchase….

Out of curiousity buddy, where did you see or hear the £10m price for Olise ? In my opinion you wouldnt get his right foot for that, and he is left footed. I said on here a few weeks ago that he would be a player I would want AFC to buy IF saka was gonna be sold to a team abroad - no point in having both players in the squad cos only one would start and we have gaping holes in our starting 11 that need to be filled before we get fanciful ideas of strengthening the squad. Personally I would def consider selling saka if psg or madrid came in for him and if we could sign Olise
