I don't know.... its almost like appointing a novice as manager of a huge club is a bad idea....
Well we are in a much better place today, than the day he took over. No point pretending otherwise
Are we?

The one off season (22/23) was based mainly on a run of form from August through to the World Cup.
We struggled, had a bit of luck from then on and then collapsed in April. I would argue we got steadily worse during all of last year, and the failure to buy a top class striker meant we were unable to build on last season.

Ok we have been in and around the top again and cruised through the Champions League group but I still think we will struggle to finish in the top 4 and yet again we have exited the domestic cups early.
There doesn’t seem to be a plan B, but Arteta better find one soon because plan A is clearly not working. And I won’t be suddenly Arteta in even if we do beat Palace 5-0 on Saturday
Agreed. US Wilson seems to think top 4 is nailed on.

I think given how crap we have been ALL SEASON it will be a struggle.

Edit to add and if and when we fail to finish top 4 or scrape 4th what's will all the AKBs be saying??? How is that improvement and anything but last season was a fluke.

Just read the most infuriating interview with this clown. Going on and on about all the chances "his" team create and how the ball just won't go into the net. He asks what's he meant to do?? Buy a striker you halfwit!!!

Says they created 18 chances against Liverpool, the "best team in Europe" according to him, and his "brave" team (according to him) will keep doing that and the ball will start going into the net and they'll win a lot more games than they'll lose.

Again, not without a striker Dumbo.

Once he lets his hair turn grey and puts on an oversized jacket, the Wenger transformation will be fully complete :banghead:

Anyone expecting el basque to learn any lessons from today ? We were a lot more fluent and sharper in attack when the german dud went off ? Maybe that releasing the ball to the wingers early makes us a more dangerous threat instead of 40 + sidewards passes ?? I'm not expecting him to learn anything either

More dangerous when ESR came on , a couple of through balls going forward . And a great pass from Jorginho .

Having a player centrally who can carry the ball and be direct makes such a difference

Thought he had a very good 20 mins

Yes, Jorginho’s assist was great, amazing what you can do if you look to pass forwards to pacy attackers  :barscarf:

No. And he won't like it either. His entire "process" was shown up for the stupid ineffective ego-driven rubbish it is. ESR showed in twenty minutes what we've been missing in almost every game this season. So that'll be ESR not getting a a sniff of a game for another 5 or 6 matches then.....
