If I remember correctly he fucked up in his very first match from a free kick, didn’t come, stayed rooted to the spot and got beaten by a header …..the sign of things to come :censored:

Toney should change his name to Poney from what I've seen, scuffed every shot and should have set up an absolute sitter for maupay ten minutes before the mousers scored

that cech signing was possibly one of the worst in our history....sent out a signal that we were going nowhere and willing to sign rivals has been cast off...if i remember right he gave the explanation saying wanted to stay in London to finish kids education , and of course to top up his pension :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: chav scum

I was thinking the same thing Lefty, he has been shyte... fluffed any chances that have come his way.

Hate to say it but the ScouseFilth will stroll the 2nd half, though I would be more than happy to be proven wrong.

I agree Red, although the Old Fraud had sent out the message that we were going years before that. Once he started the bollocks about top four being a trophy and clearly gave up trying to compete with Utd and Chelsea, then we were finished. Any sensible board would have sacked him then, but of course, he was doing their unambitious bidding too.

The signing of sub standard cast offs started in earnest with the signing of Mikel Silvestre in 2008 (I think). We’d had our usual non event summer transfer window and then Wenger was saying that he’d be announcing the signing of a top player the following week. I happened to be away on holiday when the following week arrived and my mate texted me to say we’d signed Silvestre. Finding it impossible to believe that the clown had actually signed the Utd dud, I racked my brains, but couldn’t think of another footballing Silvestre, so I texted back saying “what, Mikel Silvestre?” and he answered yep.

I had already given up on Wenger, but that signing really did signal the end under his stewardship. Took the old prat another 10 years to finally fuck off. It’s hardly encouraging that Cone Boy is carrying on the tradition of signing has-beens and duds from our rivals. Havertz is the worst of the lot.

I think the Brentford fairytale is well and truly over now and it’s only a matter of time before they drop out of the division.

They defied all expectations in their first season by not only surviving but actually thriving in the league something they were then able to replicate last season.

Nobody enjoyed going there and they regularly took big scalps at home as well as away to be fair.

All change this season though and they regularly get dicked and the fear factor a lot of teams had of going there is gone. They’ll survive this time around because of the absolute state of the teams below them but I reckon they’re nailed on to go next season.

They look shambolic today, as they have for pretty much the whole season, and are scarily wide open at the back. Lump on them being relegated next season.

They will get close to 100m for Toney in the summer, and that type of money will see big changes to their team for next season - 100m MIGHT buy us two players, but for likes of Brentford that is 5 or 6 new signings

Yeah, I was "hoping" they might, but once the scouseFilth had scored it was only a matter of time before they scored again, especially with Brentford wasting so many early chances. :?

Brentford's left back Collins must be the worst defender in the Prem even worse than Zinchenko...
