This has got to be 4 or 5-0 to us. Nothing else is acceptable. Need to score in the first 15 mins and we're set. Martinelli to star in this one!!
Come on you fucking glorious gunners!!!
He was pretty quiet v West Ham, not saying he didn’t do okay, but not really involved in the key attacking moments - would like to think he will be raring to get in among the goals Saturday.
No reason to change anything really, bar training injuries between now and Saturday
Smith Rowe’s ankle roll may be better ( fingers crossed ) but can’t see him starting
Tomi back too but Kiwor did enough to keep his place for me.
Hope we have a couple of new corner routines to score from, we are getting seriously good at them after years and years of them being a complete waste of time.
I think one of the reasons for that is that he had Kiwior behind him whereas Saka has his regular RB Ben White behind him, where they do overlaps etc. Kiwior has looked slightly better & safer compared to when he first played, but he is slow and we know that not only is Martinelli quick but his defensive work is really good as he also chases back. Would like to see Jorginho back in midfield as well, have ESR instead of Havoc and that would be a decent 11.
Martinelli certainly works hard defensively, more so than Saka and yes he doesn’t get the support of the over lapping fullback outlet that White provides on many occasions, he even popped up on the right hand side on occasions v Wet Sham, the versatility of a front 3 of Trossard, Saka, and Martinelli offers great opportunities to swap and mix positions to confuse an befuddle marking.
Agree with above..... those 3 together are a potent force...took arteta long enough to realise nekitah is not up to it...fuckin games we watched with him STROLL AROUND GRINNING AND NOT EVEN BREAK INTO A SWEAT upfront

Diet Pep's latest words of wisdom on Haveashit means that he is nailed on as a starter
Probably at the expense of Trossard but who knows, the Basque Bluffer could play him on the left at the expense of Martinelli He'll shoehorn him in anywhere to justify the £65million

Yup! Ain't it fuckin' Sickening!...
Very few teams can have world class players in every position, but playing the likes of Havertz and Zinchenko is just self harm

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta hopes to welcome back "a few" unnamed players from injury at Turf Moor.
Emile Smith Rowe, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fabio Vieira all missed the win at West Ham.
The Gunners are vying to begin a calendar year with five consecutive league wins for the first time in their history.
They have won 13 of their last 14 Premier League games against newly promoted opposition, with the exception a 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest in May.
Mikel Arteta's side have the chance to record consecutive top-flight clean sheets for just the second time this season.
Arsenal have scored 11 Premier League goals following corners this season, more than any other side.
Bukayo Saka has the opportunity to score in four consecutive Premier League appearances for the first time in his career, though he has failed to find the net in all six of his previous top-flight matches against Burnley.

worried about team selection with the Porto game coming up next week...... hopefully he wont bring in viera or zinchenko and hamper our recent good run
Same starting 11 as West ham game, ESR on the bench
When Jorginho was on bench for the shammers game diet pep came out with an excuse about him not being fit and I called it then as bu!!shit and it seems that it was - his performance against the victims should have seen him keep his place, and no way should the german dud be in the team ahead of him.

Everyone at the club loves him as a person so he deserves his place
I’d say there’s a good chance Jorgihno starts away in Porto midweek. He seems to play mostly in games where we won’t dominate possession for the 90 minutes rather than ones like today against the dross.
