As will everyone else, apart from Everton in the traditional end of season turkey shoot when all the medals have already been dished out elsewhere

This will be a carbon copy of last season. Total meltdown. You could see the bubble burst vs Bayern last week.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 8:19 pmAs will everyone else, apart from Everton in the traditional end of season turkey shoot when all the medals have already been dished out elsewhere

I knew that if we ever became "favourites" and led the table this would happen. Chasing a couple of points behind suited us. Soon as Liverpool flunked it last weekend and again today, looked what happened. We were "favourites" supposedly against Bayern too. The team are so mentally weak its untrueBobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 8:58 pmThis will be a carbon copy of last season. Total meltdown. At Arsenal he was a liability. At Leverkusen he is reliable. Go figure. Something weak at Arsenal. In built.

That's the truth isn't it. Rice seemed capable of dragging West Ham to their first trophy in over 40 years. Xhaka leads Neverkusen to the unlikeliest of titles. Here.....nothingBobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 9:51 pmAt Arsenal he was a liability. At Leverkusen he is reliable. Go figure. Something weak at Arsenal. In built.

Absolutely bang on Steve Minute and second we had it in our hands we shat our shorts Bayern bumholes? Bayern will bumhole us 2 or 3-0 without breaking sweat I would imagine.. Of course the goals we lose will all be self inflicted Clocks go forward and The Arsenal go back..rinse and repeat.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 9:17 pmI knew that if we ever became "favourites" and led the table this would happen. I don't know why everyone is so surprised....
I suppose it's the hope....we don't let ourselves hope initially but as it goes on we start thinking maybe, just maybe........and then the teams around us stumble, we go top and off come the wheels. Every year without fail. The team won't be back. Not until it is mathematically impossible to win the title, we'll drop points here and there until it's officially over, then the verve, swagger and flat track bullying will return. They can fuck off!!

Book yourself a front row seat for the 4-0 battering of Everton on the final day mate. The sun will be out, as will all the tricks, flicks and oles from the crowd. Lap of appreciation and then spend the summer hoping the same 2 or 3 weakspots in the squad will be fixed, but knowing they won't be. The never ending project continuesReno Gooner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 1:33 amI don't know why everyone is so surprised....

I usually never bet against the Arsenal but that's free fucking money right there!
