Kevin Campbell RIP

Post by Arsenal Till I Die »

There appears to be strong indication, on social media, that Kevin is in hospital suffering from kidney failure.

Horrible if true, wishing him all the best.

It began Three and a Half Months ago he has been in and out of hospital ever since, he is 'fighting' it, but it is Sadly 50/50 at this point.

Love Big Super Kev not only a proper player but is genuinely a Very Nice Person and a Gentleman who Always has time for the fans (Arsenal and the Toffees who also love him.)

Hope he can get through this. God Bless Him.

Get well soon, Big Kev.

Happy memories of you banging in 50 goals for the reserves and slamming them in for Orient too

That's very sad news. He's always come across as such a lovely bloke and someone who still speaks very highly of the club. I loved him as a kid, banging in loads of goals on the way to winning the title in 1990-91 and that header against PSG in 1994. Hope he gets well soon.

Really shit news.

I remember going to the Orient with a mate who is an O's supporter and watching Super Kev. He was different class to anyone in that league.

The O's were gutted when his loan spell was over.

Apparently a really nice guy as well.

Hopefully he pulls through.

He was among the Gooner contingent at Anfield 89 albeit in club blazer and tie, along with Davis and I think Quinn from memory

Best Wishes Super Kev

We are devastated to learn that our former striker Kevin Campbell has died after a short illness.

Kevin was adored by everyone at the club. All of us are thinking of his friends and family at this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Kevin ❤️
