New: Arsenal have enquired about the availability of Everton midfielder Amadou Onana.
Arsenal interest in Onana has potential to be significant blow to Man Utd's pursuit of Jarrad Branthwaite. A sale before end of June would be helpful to Everton's PSR position. If that was to be Onana, it would help Everton to, at the least, fight to gain true value for the CB

Arsenal contacted Everton today, on what has been a busy opening day for Everton, over the Belgium international, Amadou Onana. The ECHO understands the Blues would be seeking at least £50m. [@LivEchoEFC]

I know in todays market english born players come with a premium price tag (blah blah blah), but honestly how the fcuk do we expect to get 20m for a guy that couldnt get a game unless the tea lady was injured and car park attendant suspended ?? Someone in the club needs to realise that a huge failing of the cone boys policy of playing some players all the time (saka and odeargod for starters) means that players like nelson and smith-rowe are depreciating in value cos they aint getting game time

You’re wrong. Onana has the ability to be an absolute game changer at Arsenal. Him and Rice would dominate the majority of midfields. He has pace and a good engine. £50m would be a steal.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2024 10:09 amAgreed. The only time I can remember him is when he played a blinder against us at the end of the 22/23 seasonKingralph wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2024 3:08 pmYou’re wrong. When the ball is at his feet he is like bambi on ice skates, and if you are playing in this Arsenal team (especially in midfield), then you sure as shit need to be better and quicker with the ball. There are loads of better options and for much better value too.
