Getting tickets

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Latest ballot system is a joke.

If we can take the title to the last day then forget a ticket to the match - it could well be just as difficult to get into one of the pubs in the area that day! 8)
15% chance for silver member. 6% chance for red member. Not got a single ticket this season via a dozen or so ballot applications. Cancelled my membership for next season. Just 92,000 in front of me on season ticket waiting list. I will go to Orient for a few seasons.

92,000? If we stay on current form I can’t see that getting you a season ticket in a lifetime even if you were 92,000 position on birth.

I remember seeing an article from shewore in the summer saying the waiting list in 2018 was ~45k and this summer it was ~95k. Think it'll only increase due to the form we're in

Cancelled my membership and got an email saying they were sad to see me go. However bung us £34 to not get tickets next season and we'll be happy!
Now Arsenal haven't made Community Shield which is one of two games I did get a ticket for last season (along with Emirates Cup), I have no regrets.
Can't wait to see how much I move up waiting list this summer. Hoping to get one before I croak, but it will probably be at the rear of the upper tier and I will probably have a heart attack getting there for opening game of the season.
Luckily, I know some season ticket holders who can't make every game.

My lads are Arsenal daft :barscarf: 9 and 6 they are and always at me asking when they can go.I gave up my 2 reds a few seasons ago when le bulbeye had worn me down  I'm considering getting an adult and 2 kids memberships this year but from what ive heard it seems like it would be 74 quid down the drain

Guess it depends if you and your boys would be happy to see a Carling cup game or maybe Champions league dead rubber ?
I’m the same gave up red membership years ago -

Emirates Cup is probably most likely. Didn't have a home game in League Cup last season. Also there seems to be a policy of not letting people buy or accept transfers of UEFA tickets unless they have previously attended.

Not been on in a few days lads. That was my thinking Emirates cup or Carling cup,it seems the ballot would be near impossible to get 3 tickets for  A pish state of affairs. Maybe joining a supporters club would be the move,I think I would need the 3 memberships for that regardless :rubchin: Its something i'll look into.

No change in season ticket waiting list position. Still over 92000 ahead of me :(

We are contacting you as you are on the waiting list for a General Admission Season Ticket at Emirates Stadium.

Following an incredible season, our current Season Ticket holders have renewed at an extremely high rate. Unfortunately, on that basis, we are unable to offer season tickets to our waiting list members for 2024/25.

Your current position on the waiting list has not changed. We will be in touch with you again when you are eligible, or if there is a significant change to your position on the waiting list.

Probably got more chance as a member of an overseas supporters club these days than as a Red member

FULL BALLOT STATISTICS
20,000 – members who were unsuccessful in the ballot but later acquired a ticket via Ticket Exchange or Ticket Transfer for the same fixture

Given you don’t have to have a membership to use ticket transfer, I don’t see how it is relevant.

2 – members who applied to all 25 ballots and were not successful or able to get a ticket via Ticket Exchange or Ticket Transfer

Ridiculous. Would be more interesting to know the most tickets anyone got via the ballot.

My statistics

2022/23 - a dozen tickets bought via membership
2023/24 - zero

Anyway, membership cancelled now so just ticket transfer available which saves me £54

Nice to see the club trying to make a few quid out of supporters by flogging them an online ticket to watch meaningless friendly matches over the next few weeks!

Our Early Bird Pre-Season Pass, which provides the best value, is now available to purchase globally*. From just £9.99, this pass includes live coverage of the following four fixtures:
Arsenal v Manchester United: July 28 - 1am BST
Arsenal v Liverpool: August 1 - 12:30am BST
Arsenal vs Bayer Leverkusen: August 7 - 6pm BST
Arsenal v Lyon: August 11 - 2pm BST

Just the excuse I need to not watch them! However you can get a free trial of LFCTV to watch the victims* game, though not sure I would stay up all night with a couple of Micky commentators. Besides, they will show a re-run on arsenal.com the next day.
