I always want my country to do well, but I’m extremely fair-weather when it comes to international football.

I just don’t care for it, to be honest. I’ve had it on because there’s fuck all else on, or it’s been on in the boozer, but I can’t say I’ve been glued. International football doesn’t have any flair or passion anymore; the teams all seem quite stale and dull and there’s no real sense of jeopardy, like in club football.

Southgate is the primary reason England won’t win it. He’s a useless manager, that relies on his players rather than his tactics.

England have a good attack and midfield but the defence and goalkeeper are off the mark and will cost England.
