Euro 2024

Foden and Trent Arnold were absolute dog shite. Dec and Saka played well I thought.
England biggest problem remains Southgate. His failure to react to Fodens piss poor display (and TAA to an extent) was inexcusable.
^^ This.
I concur with your 'Thissing' ! :high5:

And he is another real madrid player too   Have to be honest and say that I never heard of him before tonight and he really impressed me, and then I hear that he plays for madrid and I'm wondering if they have ALL the top young players signed up for their club ??? Where are AFC and their scouts when all these talented players are moving clubs ?? I liked the way we were doing our transfer business a few years back when we were signing the likes of saliba, martinelli, guendouzi and marquinos - competing for the top tier talent with oil backed states was gonna be impossible, so we went after young players with top potential instead, but we seem to have gone away from that business model

Only watched some highlights but looked like a cracking game. The youngster's goal was indeed superb and the first goal was a blinder too.

I had also never heard of Guler and only have the goal to go on, but Real Madrid are going to be unstoppable. Mbappe turning up next season to add to Bellingham etc and youngsters like Guler coming through...blimey.

Augie, I've often asked myself the same question about scouting the best young players abroad. The Spanish and Portuguese have always picked up the best prospects from S. America, but I suppose there's a cultural connection to help with that. I also seem to remember that their govts (or their FAs) allow them to sign players a year younger than we can in the UK, although not sure if that's still the case. Maybe I'm wrong, but seem to remember a rule difference of some sort.

Anyway, you're right, we need to sharpen up with recruiting young talent and also there's a lot that come through in Central and Eastern Europe that the Germans seem to hoover up.

Tierney just got injured(sorry to see) again in the Scotland game, and people thought we should never have let him go on loan, unfortunately he cant be relied on and we will be lucky to get a good price for him

I’ve been enjoying his performance immensely, he’s absolutely stinking the place out of it, and the Irish commentary say you rarely see him misplace a pass, they must only watch him in imterlull tournaments

Feel sorry for Tierney but the lad would break a finger when picking his nose. There'll be no fee for him I expect, total liability.

I watched it especially to see the myth of "but he is great for the Swiss" that some on here used to shite out of them.

Holy fuck. He was his usual absolute spoofer of a foobler pissing away possession, zipping passes straight into touch ten yards ahead of his target and falling over looking for a fee kick and pointing like a retard.

Possibly the best flush we have ever had was the day we finally fucked off Lobotomy Clive. :censored:

I didn’t actually see that game but I read he was very poor. As was DeBruyne, if you’re now basing your opinion on one game when trying to judge how good a player someone is. :D
