I'm on the fence for this one as I've not taken any notice of him or how he plays. If we buy him then I want him to be brilliant.

He should be playing for Belgium on Monday night so let's take a look at him in a better team and see how he performs and then make a call after that one match. :D

We could be like scouts. :D :D

Belgium are a better team than Everton in theory.

I rated Onana when he was first at Everton a couple of years ago and actually said on here that we could do worse than go after him. However, that was in the days of Xhaka as our defensive centre mid, with a suspect Partey alongside him, so I wasn't setting the bar particularly high.

When I've seen him in the last 18 months I haven't been overly impressed, but as someone has said, it will be interesting to see him perform for Belgium. Unsure on this one, but better than the options we've got.

Augie, I think we'll still have Jorginho and that Arteta will use him as he did this past season.

Watching the Belgium game on an Irish channel, and the co commentator during the 1st half said he's being particularly bad ,actually think he's used the word dreadful

He was nothing short of fcuking horrendous and I challenge anyone to come up with anything that shows otherwise - he wasnt tracking runners which for a defensive midfielder is shocking, but his passing was fcuking atrocious and that is being kind to him

Watched the Belgium game and I didn't think he was very good at all. He's a lanky fucker too.

🔴⚪️ Karl Hein, set to sign new deal at Arsenal with final details of his contract being completed — as @gunnerblog reported.

Loan remains strong possibility being considered as Arsenal will proceed with £27m deal to make David Raya signing permanent.

Raya is a decent keeper but not Good Enough (neither is/ was Rambo) If we want to win the title, also to go an buy a better GK would cost mega millions, besides which that would mean arteta having to admit he was Wrong about how he handled to GK situation last season. :?

You should go have a look for yourself (bbc and itv both have catch up I assume) cos honestly he wouldnt have shone in a pub league team he was that bad. We need to be getting better than the likes of onana cos he is never gonna be the difference in a title challenge

I concur! :high5:

Also Stay The Fuck Away from Onana, Osimhen, Guimaraes all overrated and Isak (the latter though decent is too injury prone).

🚨 Arsenal are ‘very close’ to signing Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP, with only ‘financial details’ holding up the transfer. [@Sport_Witness via @leoninopt] #afc

The details being that we’ve yet to make a single bid.

Aren't financial details sort of 90% of the whole transfer thing? There's a lot of stuff in life that I'm probably 'very close' to doing; like marrying Helena Christensen or playing up front for Arsenal if you just took away almost all of the necessary things which had to be in place for those to happen.
