ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So much for all the bollox about transfers getting done by the 30th June to suit FFP.

Fucking meeja wankers!!
The clubs who were in trouble did transfers. Bought and sold to load of youth team players for exorbitant fees to get around the regulations.

Normal transfers won’t start happening until the end of July when the Euros finishes and the players have had a bit of a holiday.

In the last 30 years or so we have signed players from every backwater in the world I would say (except Ireland  ), but we rarely sign Italians and that shocks me given that it is such a football powerhouse. For the most part when we are linked with Italians I ignore the rumours cos as far as I can see we dont like signing Italians

BBC Sports:

Arsenal have had a 47m euro (£40m) offer for Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori rejected by Bologna, who want at least 50m euros (£42m). Chelsea are also interested in the 22-year-old.

FFS! Okay so Go back with the extra £2Million and get it sorted! If we really are in for him get it done. This brings back those awful memories of when TOF would be in charge of a bid and negotiations for some player that suited our needs and then dilly dally over peanuts whilst another club just went in splashed the cash and got the deal done! :banghead:

Wenger the spendthriftCUNTwho still managed to steal a living of some £11million a year whilst achieving fuck all.

Sevilla are now open to having a mandatory €15m purchase clause in Lokonga's loan move if certain objectives are met next season. The deal is advancing now and the agreement is close. [@abcdesevilla]
