After Riccardo Calafiori’s green light to move and contract, Arsenal have made direct contact with Bologna.

Talks between clubs have started.

No issues on Calafiori’s contract terms, up to the clubs now.

Bologna received a formal offer from Arsenal for Riccardo Calafiori last night. The ‘monster’ offer includes ‘achievable bonuses’, with Arsenal hopeful for a rapid conclusion. Calafiori already has a ‘general agreement’ on a four-year contract worth €4m-per-year. [@CorSport]

Not sure what the point of spending £50 million on a left sided CB when we have Gabriel, Kiwor and Tomi who can play there, as well as Saliba if need be as hes showing he can do it for France.

Would be better to spend it on traditional style LB
