…..in summary Arsenal are becoming what they were in the latter years stale and far too predictable

Becoming stale? We’ve just finished second and had some of the best stats in the league.

The other players you mention no one would probably dispute need selling, but it doesn’t happen overnight.
I think in all fairness Step we will struggle to get rid of Shenchencko like you want, seeing as he doesn’t even play for us

Nketiah is on borrowed time, he’s gone in all but name

Not unless we drop our asking price cos even boehly at the chavs isnt stupid enough to spend £50m on nketieh
Do you have that in good authority Augie ? Or just believe every word that the know nothing journalists in the papers write ?

Transfer window looking a bit worrying TBH...not sure if they have to sell to be able to buy...with the financial rules stuff

Hoping the Italian defender will be ok...and we got Timber back which is a plus...he looks useful

But have the feeling hes trying to make viera his vanity project to try and integrate him into the team....

zinchenko and the shit nekitak still here....why he dont take the money for nekitah is incredible

And of course upfront are we going to struggle with watching jesus who is not a goal scorer, with maybe nekitah as back up...FFS

Then we have partey and Tommy both inury prone

A Striker who can score goals is desperately required.....but been saying that for a while now

Riccardo Calafiori will fly to the US this afternoon to join up with the Arsenal squad on their pre-season tour. He was having medical in London yesterday. #AFC

Rumours of Toney going to the Chavs (for about £50 Mill - which is half of what they were asking for him when he was still suspended last season).

So if Toney's current worth is valued at £50mill, then The Feather is worth Minus £50million.

Once he reaches California they'll be flying him across the US to the East Coast to Philly.

He's gonna be unable to play against Liverpool due to jetlag. :D

He's had Chavs signing written all over him for a while. Fits their throw money around at anything that moves model. He's the English Lukaku.

BBC Sports:

Arsenal are in pole position to sign Sweden forward Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, with Liverpool not prepared to submit a bid for the 26-year-old.

Must admit I know nothing of this player, anyone else?

From Sweden, had a very good 2022/23 season with Coventry which led to a move to sporting lisbon for somewhere around £20m I think, and now after having one great season for them they are looking for £70m+ for him which seems a bit excessive given that he is in his late 20s I think. He is a physical centre forward as best as I can remember when I seen him playing for coventry

Yep, was just about to post this. Very worrying that Arteta sees Jesus score one goal in a friendly and all his previous failings have apparently been forgotten. We are not signing a desperately needed striker.
